Kontakt & Kontakt player software has now been updated to 5.6.8

The update links the Add/Authorize Library buttons to Native Access, simplifying installation and authorization.
As part of this change, all 3rd Party Kontakt Player Libraries can now be managed from within Native Access.
Is part of implementing Native Access as replacement for service centre
ALL future Kontakt Player libraries WILL require 5.6.8 & Native Access as minimum requirements.
5.6.8 also fixes bugs and adds one minor KSP feature related to tables and the XY pad.
See below for a detailed change log -

• ADDED New KSP built-in variable ($NI_CONTROL_PAR_IDX) returns the index of the element triggering a UI callback; applies to tables and the XY Pad
• CHANGED Add & Activate Library buttons now launch Native Access which now also supports 3rd party Libraries
• FIXED The frame rate would drop significantly if multiple waveform displays were used on a KSP UI
• FIXED The Missing Samples dialog would always suggest the default user folder instead of the folder the NKIs are in
• FIXED Crash when switching to Mini View under circumstances
• FIXED Using get_control_par() with $CONTROL_PAR_ALLOW_AUTOMATION now returns the correct value instead of always 0
• FIXED Certain Bank properties would be discarded when re-saving NKS
• KNOWN ISSUE The documentation is not up to date

Changes have been made to the Add library/Authorize library button - Some users are reporting problems when trying to add libraries
Install by running Native Access and selecting download

I recently bought The Komplete Kontrol keyboard & the KK software that comes with it , would not get along with kontakt 5.6 , so i had to downgrade to 5.5 - now they work fine together. i wonder if this new new kontakt will play nice , ha :
also , updating a `fixed` version of kontakt will mess it up anyway , no ?!

• FIXED Kontakt would crash when attempting to declare PGS keys in multiscripts
• KNOWN ISSUE Additional languages documentation is not up to date (English application reference and KSP reference were updated to version 5.7)

Interesting question -> Yes i have installed the update
The "add library" button has now been replaced by a tab labelled "manage libraries"
Also what it does has changed i'm afraid -> If you recall "add library" used to open a search box where you would locate the library manually i.e it would search for location of the nkr or nicnt and then add.
As predicted, i'm afraid the add library button is gone and clicking the manage libraries tab launches Native Access directly and libraries must be managed and added through native access. So could possibly be real bad in that manner until a workaround is found OR an updated release occurs
Have no idea what impact this will have in the sense of previous releases had to be added in R2R thru the keygen. I'm guessing this will not affect it but couldn't say for sure and not sure how say no install release will function either.
One workaround of the top of my head would be to keep an older dll & exe lying around of say unlocked.....Libraries could be added through that and reg info etc inserted.....Would imagine then they will show in say 5.7.0 but couldn't say for sure as haven't tested that myself
Of course the vast majority of libraries will be unaffected & it's only player / encoded libraries that have to be managed in this way anyhow and the previous 5.6.8 update meant that player libraries HAD to be added through library tab anyhow
