    Not too bad – i like the start + the Guitar @ 1:41.
    But panned on the left it sounds bit misplaced.....

    What i don't like is the "cold" reverb on the voice.
    In some way the whole track lacks of bass frequencies & punch.

    I think it sounds fine on the bottom end. Too much more and it would sound muddy.

    I would like to see some more punch. maybe a break? Otherwise nice guitar riffs :)

    the cake version is great huh?

    i think the voice dynamics are placed right, if anything i would add more to the bass itself, and the panning of the guitar to the left the whole time is a preference call i guess

    great vocals! only at a few points did i feel you were not singing as loud as you wanted to..

    please take my criticism as constructive! i really enjoyed this cover of a cover!

    Really good version of this song. Guitar part is ok and you use good separated channels for guitar this is great work.

    Thank ya kind folks... and.. while I appreciate the feedback on the instruments.. all I actually did here were the vocals.. :mates: :rofl:

    Ive always liked Cake's version and after a few wee drinkies.. I decided to sing it the other night... :dancing:

    As far as the mixing goes.. I did my best with a ripped, low quality, youtube instrumental :rofl:

    anyway.. back to an original project now..cheers! :mates:
