Well im certainly not offended heh heh
A comparision im used to getting is think "early prodigy" with dnb
Not so much with the few tracks i left on stream
But definalty all my older stuff.
Despite me trying my damdest to move away from that overall sound ,
No matter what i do i always end up injecting elements that kinda take me there anyway...
Guess its my style/ My blueprint of programming...
Im actually kinda exited to put some new stuff up now....
Its a way more mature sound to what i usually do " ...
I may show you guys a lil demo later on...
Besides i think its only fair for you all to hear my stuff and me not simply critique our budd sparkles work... eh!..

Sorry bud i just realised you posted the trk again...

My personal opinion "as im on your stream listening now"

    Is its

"orders of magnitude better than that 1st mix without question"

Do wish youdve switched that snare out but, yeah better much better..
Its actually way better audio quality than my old posts.......
Im not gonna critique you coz i think youve actually taken some of what we said on board ....
    Well done much better inmho.....

@jynx my man he hehe ... Thanks for yo comments !
I just listened your tracks, "Mark Of Change" is very close to what i love from this music, also i liked very much "Dis One" even poor quality sounds homey, reminds me some many years back in the future, lol ,great man!
First i like the kick and the snare and how they glue all together in the first track.smooth and nice, punchy and steady, and the main bass nicely compare the drum n bass section.
Second i like the defer voices and phrases among the track, suppose thats your style tho.
for the second and third track man nice sound but i m not in to this style, too hardcore for me :) the last one was somewhere in the middle for a while the same but next you came with lovely pad and breaks.
Willing to hear new stuff and i can imagine you improved your inspiration so i 'll keep an eye ;)
    Talk soon man!

    Heh Heh I thought not...
i remember now weve spoken before and i think you listened to errr diss one at the time....
Are you reffering to "diss one" or "trick or treat"
Everything on there aside from trick or treat "which i used fl studio to write"
Anything else Was written on a octacore galaxy pro tab with G stomper studio....
In heindseight i wish i didnt delete so much because its still a poor reflection on skill..
Well no actually i wish i didnt delete from existence all the stuff i did with fl studio.....
I just need you guys to understand that what your listening to ,is and was essentially my re/introduction to programming again after nearly 15 years break. from it all
I genuinley kept those few tracks for nostalgia only..."not because theyre in any way my favourites or anything"
" nor a a reflection on my curent skill level either"
But yeah still i appreciate it ......
And the fact you openly admitted it too i think is honourable.....
    I did wonder tbh...
But its all gravy as they say.......

    Hey mann..
    Wazzup...
Appreciate you popping over to my lonley ass stream, he .heh...
So if im to understand you correctly your essentially saying that >>
" your not into the harder aspect of DnB But you do however like what i would call almost the golden era of DnB"
    Meaning "old skool"
Or not so much that but you like the more traditional "liquid element" yes?
The new one im doing now then i think you might like...
Please do remember what your listening to of mine is 2 years old and primarily programmed on a galaxy tablet...
Aside from "trick or treat" which was fl studio...
But ultimatley back then everything i wrote

    "while music content was ok"

"the recordings were awfull and clipping and uncompressed and also had nothing on the master really/and no mastering in general"

Trust me im far better programmer than my stream would suggest he heh!.....
Im hoping to show you later what im doing now..
But i had ear fatigue yesterday and i shouldve stopped programming and i didnt...
So today so far all i have been doing to the tune is correcting all the mistakes i made late last night ya know what i mean........

Heh. My general incompetence is legendary Jynx! At least some random guy got a few more plays. Anyway, I listened to all ur tracks, I like em all. Not too hardcore for me. I guess it's the first time anyone's compared u to Akiko Kiyama! Roffles.

I kinda <3 those fluttery, stuttery lil butterfly rhythms @ the start of Diss One. Even tho (overall) it's a bit rough & ready, it's lovely! I kinda love that filth! I'm listening to it again & still grinning... You do go a bit snare happy @ the end, tho! :D

I guess Samuel L Jackson samples do date ur tracks a bit. I didn't like the future bass thing u did w/ snare @ start of Humble Lion, but it turned out ok! Loved all those tremolo-ish bits, where it all "falls apart" in interesting ways.

Guess latest track was bit more "commercial" (polished) but I enjoyed all the frenzy of burbling lava mania @ the end. Liked all the lil rhythm variations, too. Lots of work! I couldn't be bothered to do it all, tbh! It's kinda inspired me to redo some old tracks, tho. Just don't have time atm =(

Yes ,correct, close to old school limits before the hard style comes, more melody and deep sounds ,darkness ,were the light comes up from the deepest dark floating and is spreading across the darkness ,smoothly and gently. Some references like (Calibre,Tecnimatic,High Contrast, mostly the new generation of this music)
I wouldn't say ever that you are not a good programmer, or musician , in my world if i listen something good it is good, no matter if this sound came from a tumble of a tin box on the asphalt (if i said right) or by pushing repeatedly a button rhythmically with the same tone if you understand what i m talking about.

    Oh wow !
    How nice....
I been in a shitty mood and thats perkt me up thankyou...
    Well about that comparision...>
    I did kinda think
"what i dont really see or hear it"
But theres always an experimental side and back then i had a nasty habit of filling up space with unecessary fx n drones etc...
The sign of a poor programmer kinda...
So yes i fell into that trap often and thought it was that to which you were reffering too....
So basd on that i then undersatoood why you said that...
Ive genuinley always "and im quite proud overall of the comparision " been compared to early prodigy but with my dnb element bllended in"

Not so much in those tracks i left but overall.....
Id understand if your hesitant to tell me on here....
I do try to include a kinda "ravey" elemnet

Ultimatley when im programming hard house/Dnb im alwys just drawing on memory of the musics id listen too when i was younger.....
    Im 40 now mann...
    Gettin old ya know....
    Heh Heh...
    Well not that damn old....
btw have you not a stream yourself i could pop over too..
For the record i appreciate all kinds of music.....

Oh and listen thats a shame you cant find the time.;...

Id love to listen to something youve prog,d

Yeah im startin to gett old now but ive always as far back as i can remember been a /Raver/Dnbasser/Junglist/And overall general music lover...
But yes no matt6er how hard i try to steer away from that >
    "old skool sound i have"

I alwys end up programming tracks in a similar overall tone no matter if it was way different to start with......
It almost seems like the less i try to put my > "signature or stamp on things"
    Over what im writing
    ,the more it becomes aparent
    if im making sense...

Sorry for my delay, just figuring out how i will finish the track plus some other stuff ...
Well yeah same here in a way i start heavy metal/all the genres/Dnb for now
As you said thats a cool story to continue the progress, level up your skills as you still have the desire, its pretty much normal, nice normal!
As for me really i don't know yet, i didn't even try to do this, and its good start point that you remind me the signature, almost forgot, trying to, in a way, to copy the sounds the tricks as i listen DnB and make them mine ,well i m the owner coz i programming them now, not make really sense ,its good to have a big picture of how i want my track sounds' i take from here ,i take from there, some lessons ,watch youtube e.t.c and i start making it happen... now i'm exploring the way of my sound how i like sounds, in general as we can say in DnB there is only one way, one rule, so accidentally we all follow this rule coz we can hear it clean ,i mean technically ,so my signature will come when i have reach this skill of good sound and then when i can play it on my fingers then i will have plenty of time to find and place my signature ,till then hehehe.. work : )
