I just dont see any diffrence in beeing a newbie or oldie. We all have a common interest in some way and thats why we are beeing here. But comon, if you try to get in to the hottest club in town and have to stand in line, watching all the "oldies" just go straight in it can feel bad for some. Once inside you can see they get like free drinks and stuff. They have alot of fun. They know alot of people in there. Simply because they have been around. I dont belivie any of us jump up on the table and demands the the guards or owners should start demand you get treated the same way. Simply because they dont know you. If you start by acting like a little kid you will not get any respect from other that may be in the same situation as you, atleast some of them. Oldies that behave childish or picking fights, searching for drama are known for that so the other old timers dont pay much attension to them. But i can assure you that at some point they have earned some respect on the way. And all have the options to leave if its not for them.

Most are very helpful here, some are even "out of this world" helpful with skills and knowledge that takes years to archive. BUT, wanting help and then pretty much ignores what is written is almost insulting to a person taking the time to help you. Thing is, there are things that works for some and for some they dont. If you dont have any knowledge about computers then admit to that before saying you you already tried that and so on. It makes it harder to help you in a good way. But you will learn more and more just by saying how it is. Some of you are pretty good at this already but some are just ignorant and pretend they know, that there is something wrong with the plugins etc. Most of the times its actually just the person in front of the screen that have made some minor misstake installing or placement of files and so on.

When it comes to drama i think most of the times its just to blow of steam, no matter who starts it. Theese endless mac vs pc, Reaper vs Cubase, S1, live or whatever is just like cheering on your favorite team. Its just normal for thoose who get offended when the Reaper guys start braging on how good it is and states things that aint true about my beloved Cubase then even I throw myself into the drama haha. Kidding..

My point is that we are many people here with diffrent backgrounds, diffrent taste and so on, some with strong minds on how things should be. Before i joined years ago i was just lurking around, reading post pretty much since day one. But i fist joined for one reason, that i had knowledge to help someone out. So i joined. Not to start by begging for stuff or complaining about things that people here been doing for years. Tried my best to add something to this community by lame jokes or actually helping someone out. To get some cred i even tried to debate for this or that but as things like that didnt lead to any cred what so ever i came to the conclusion to keep my opinions to myself unless asked for it.

I wish to welcome pretty much everyone here and feel good about the forum is growing but its also a little sad that over the last few weeks most things are drama about newbies and oldies, never ending post about Omnisphere install problems but other than that its not much. Miss posts about new software, tips on how to make that snare sound atc.. Maybe thoose post disapear a little cause of this ongoing drama.. i dont know. SO, please boys n girls, calm down and get back to what most of us wanna do as good as we can, Create and produce good music..

What's the correct way, then? "Throw them"? One shouldn't be forced to type "him/her" everytime :snuffy:
Anyway, next time instead of making 3 consecutive posts, you can use the multiquote function  cheers and welcome

Errr... welcome to the community EL75. Imho you are under a misconception when you think a non offending thread should be closed because in your opinion it's useless etc. What is totally worthless to you, it may mean something to the thread starter. Just look at audiosex's main troller lol: the Foster threads. It's like similar to the X files or something. Very rarely any of his muso-pseudo philosophical searches and thread starts make any sense but without your local troll there's no friction, right?
Also if you noticed a mistreatment you should name/quote it please. Or else your argument falls short imo always.
    Cheers:yes:

I consider you as one of the people that I consider a friend here FWIW, You know not in a creepy way but as in one of homies. There are a hanful of others and I hope that grows over time, It is just the way things are irl as in some people just get along and other's rub one another the wrong way. I have no idea of your past but at the same time that isn't my business and I certainly wouldn't go looking through old threads to check if you are a "good person" or "bad person"

    So do i bro. :mates:
My start here was a bit tornado-ish. Lots of pointless arguing and rebelling against the "authority".

Let me tell you personally that Audiosex is one of the most friendly sites on the interwebz. Not exaggerating a bit. I was thrown out of forums for simply stating opinions or disagreeing. Not here.
Sure some discussions may get a bit heated, but overall it's a calm place, a country life as @Olymoon put it.
However if you feel so, please hit me up with PM, perhaps we can work this out.

Hey not trying to be a d*ck ....(wait for it)...but this forum much like the world we live in are full of really nice respectful people..and at the same time full of arrogant douchebags who just want some attention so try to be funny..(see oppressed video post or annoyed at having to clarify gender guy :rofl:)..anyway just remember if you're going to post in a public forum with access to millions of people, not everyone is going to agree with you or be nice, and they don't have to ..just as you get the op to say whatever's on your mind so do others,no matter how full of douyche baggery it is .:rofl:

    Have a good one.:like:

It seems that I've missed some fun lately.

But the bar was left at such heights with those epic threads about R2R/Some-mod issues.. people summoning R2R with text messages in binary, hexadecimal, octal and so on... damn, even GoT and dating with Tinder ladies seems boring to me since then...

To be honest the Tinder thing could be my fault, I'm a fast learner with English (see my sig) but still a bit clumsy with women. But man, it's so easy to mistake something like "please take a seat" with "please take a shit"... why everyone is so sensitive???

Thanks for your contribution to my thread. Whst you said is true, however, not everyone here gets away with it. It all depends on who they are. Where are the mods at when that happens? I think that everyone that goes into a thread with that type of behavior should have their post removed from the thread and the second time not be allowed to post. That will keep the thread as intended.
