ive got back into redoing fl and posted a demo blue on your AZ post,
just to do the top part now and ill do a few more in other colors
have also did all piano roll tools .
With the tips from r4e they can now be moved into any more updates
what stoped me last time from doing it.

If anyone wants to help there are a few tools added in the pack as well.
All thats missing or left to find are the drag handles and the gray boxes or panels,

i can find all the tabs that's in them and at this stage im thinking of just coloring in my screen with markers lol
so think of this as a cry for help

one thing in looking into as well is power-builder as its the only name on colormania
that can match the gray 7696487 when its set, the rest show pinky or bluey pinky

Update :
The settings could be in the share folder
in the SG.dll and SG_x64.dll will look into it a bit more.

@Lunarpole the one im working on at the moment started of as a test run
just to see what can be changed ,
but its not to bad and am using it as my default color now ,there is a screen shot in the pack on your AZ post .
I hope to do a few more when this one is finished.

After checking most of the files now in the share folder and i still can't find the panels boxes.
i also had a look in the computer reg so ill have to recheck the FLEngine all over again
maybe i just over looked it .

My version (in photoshop) So that you understand in which direction to move)))

 

To find the settings or code to change the color of fl studio
the FLEngine.dll can be droped into programs like / Restuner/ Pexplorer / Restorator / ResHacker ...ect

when you open the dll inside these programs you will see subfolders and the color settings in the RCdata file,
the RCdata folder can be saved and copyed into any updates using most of these programs
so you won't have to do all this again to keep your own cool fl studio.

The color will be listed as well as what they are for and can look like ,

Color = 9670537
ClBlack or ClBlue ..ect

In ColorMania set it to Delphi Hex / chouse what color you like, click set
and copy the numbers like this / Color = $008E5D2B where 9670537 was before in the RCdata file and then save it.

Yeah that's nearly there, That Ninja black is nice would be cool with some Ninja red.

 

Momo take a look at other tones of black.
I've noticed some programs look a bit DOS-like, it might look better if you lighten the black a tiny bit.

Looks like I'll have to add other shades of black as some stuff won't show up lol
the mixer goes white if set to black 0 but at black 25% its ok.
ill use the black one as a start for the black and red one
was looking at a old skin that i hope to do when i find the rest of the toolbar tabs

but ill work on it as im looking for the main tool bar boxes.
im even thinging of wrighting to IL to ask them where they are

@momo nice work so far man keep going. As far as i know you will not able to change the border color of panels but you can change the fill color of panels I made them black in my skin. Really good to see now you me and R4e are 3 persons who are working on FL studio 12 skin

I'm stuck at the gray boxes/panels (toolbar) like @momo, which really sucks. It is also not in the SG.dll. I opened both files with Resource Hacker, copied every Row from RC Data into a text editor and scanned it for color 7696487. Did you find that color in another file @Lunarpole ??
And momo your blue skin reminds me of:

@Lunarpole i found some of the inside panels boxes same as you but did to many changes to find them again
at lest we know they can be changed like the tabs in them,
The big worry is not finding the outside border line as it messes the look up on us.

To change the color of the panels on the mixer if its 1 to 100 that you are looking for
you can right click on them to change color then save the project in the template folder
and fl will load up how you set it from the template,
you will have to restart fl for the template to show up on the list.

A few things ive seen on fl is that the step blocks on the sequencer look pixelated when zoomed in ?
ive also found when you remove the Empty.flp from here
C:\Program Files\Image-Line\FL Studio 12\Data\System
you get a error and all the step blocks are removed from the sequencer ,the mixer tracks all when black
and the eq box on the mixer looked messed up.
so there are still a few places to look to find more settings.

@Mainzelman i had a look at the sg.dll as well as all the othere files in there
next try for me is in the Data\System folder.
The color code 7696487 could be wrong do, i got it using the eye drop tool from ColorMania but is good to have anyway,
There is also a list of whats in the the fl eng in the rcdata PACKAGEINFO this tells you whats in the subfolders as well
but ive tryed searching for names from the help menu as well as luck search ,
just change every color till i get a blister or my mouse stops working.

With the three of us on this now we'll work it out one day,fingers crossed

 

Did the same with color mania.
Noticed when I use the eyedrop tool in FL the other colors in the dll match the powerbuilder numbers.
I also searched for VCL and HTML standard colors with names from the links you posted but no gray tone matched that 7696487.

Edit:
Removing the empty.flp is really weird. And in a text editor it looks exactly like that strange old playlist thingy which appears when removing it. But can it really have something to do with the 7696487 because the Top-Dock-color then still stays the same whereas the mixer turns black.

Another thing about colors:
There is that Color Dialog in the main form with custom color strings A-P. Don't know yet what this does, but I tested it against our beloved 7696487 with no success (just so you guys know when you stumble across it).
