    Hi gals and guys.

I really got addicted to the ambient sounds, and I want ask you, ambient lovers (and not only). Do you know some great libraries for this kind of music ? If so, please give a shout with links to the shop.

I bought from prime loops Ambient Illusions and I love it http://primeloops.com/loops-samples/ambient/ambient-illusions.html

So if you know similar sounds to this pack I would be grateful.

    Thanx in advance.

Hi. I´m an ambient lover too but I´m not too familiar with libraries.
My approach to ambient sounds is by layering stuff. I found more interesting to start working from a piano or some guitars or noises to get ambient textures than using libraries and synths. Delay is a must for me in ambient sketches. I like to try every delay out there, 'famous' units and the freeones. I like the sound of the Softube Tube Delay. Try also with tracks in reverse or stretching unusual stuff, that´s a nice part of the process and you can find colorfull sounds from almost everything.

Sorry if my english is bad.

You can hear some of my sketches in here: (my soundcloud)

    Greetings.

i also am a "delay junkie"

i had the best delay plug in- "dubstation", but after working for a bit it totally got bunked up, kept crashing my DAW- and i can't find another working copy.. bummer!

I like delay units that let you use the mid/side processing for crazy sounds..the m-audio one is nice, but uses too much processing power in my opinion..

hell i have like 15 delay vsts, it would take too long to describe them all lol

I have used Linplug Sophistry for my ambient sound needs. Nowadays discontinued vst synth, but still pretty good and extensive sound wise. Check it out!

Ambient Drone Loops - a gift for Audio(SEX)Lovers

If you like the Ambient genre - not that creepy kind of stuff, but these warm,
mighty, deepgoing, powerful multilayered Drones - then this might be something for you.

The Artist behind is a well-known Ambient Musician, who became one of my best friends.

As i was starting myself a "musical career", my friend gave me a hard disk with hundreds of ambient tracks as a present to work with.

I started to search for interesting parts of the music,
cut out hundreds of samples, found out how to create Loops,
sorted the whole thing, built up a library and began to start different sound projects.

With his kindly personal permission and greetings from my dear friend i want to share some of these Loops.

This goodie contains 60 Loops. They are different in length. The dynamic flow of the tracks made it difficult to find appropriate Loop Points. Standardization impossible.

But the difference in length makes it even somehow interesting,
when you hear 2-4 of them together in a playback.

These Ambient Drones were originally created with Hardware Synthesizers ( Hartmann Neuron,Roland Fantom).
Stuff like this is not easy to find in commercial libraries.

Just do whatever you want with it.
This is no warez, this is not a scene release. It´s all royalty free, and definitely not watermarked. LOL.

    Hope you like it.
