For all the guitarists out there, I recently noticed that on YouTube a lot of guitarists are worshipping the Flextron DC 14 by AXP. This amp plugin is said to outperform all the names in business, like slate, amplitube etc. I won't insert videos here. If you want to see them just look them up on YT. The punchline is that this VST, despite its high quality, is a free plugin. So go grab it and report here, what you think of it. http://www.soft-amp.com/flextron
Considering the fact that all YT demos are total crap both sound-wise and playing-wise (at least the first 5 that came in the results page), where do you base your statement that it outperforms the big names? I don't say that it's not good (nor I am willing to try it at the moment though based on what I heard) but I find your statement a bit biased with no real facts (at least post one YT video that made you say "WOW"). Emulation of solid state amps from Crate. I have been using it since 2014 and love it. In my opinion the Crate NEVER sounded this good. The only complain I ever had was with CPU consumption. With new i7 that seems to be a thing of the past. This is a perfect example that a VST plugin does not have to cost hundreds of dollars to deliver high quality sound.
The AXP Sansamp is also quite good. It's not THE best imho but really good. And the NoiseGate in the SansAmp sim is excellent.
