Did you DISABLE keyboard input in the settings from MPowersynth? This setting causes freeze problems in some DAW's.

Try the latest FL 12.5.x, there are thousands of fixes and improvements since 11.x.
As you are demoing before purchase, why not just ask melda support or meldaproduction on gearslutz. Send them this screenshot.
    Use 11.01 melda.
Sometimes all latest versions solve a lot of issues.

Also, look through the changelog for FL.
Why do you still use "crashing semi-beta x64" in mid2017? It is unstable and on early stages of development of FL 64 bit. There were a lot of updates since 11.1.1, which had a lot of fixes of crashes for 64 bit plugins, VST3, and other changes for this. Why are you afraid of updates and FL 12.4.2-12.5? these recent updates are like it is FL 14 or 15 now.. A lot of stuff came and coming. It is 2017, not 2013.. Update and try, do not use these first attempts of 64 bit implementation for FL, use fixed and optimized latest versions. Always update, once or twice a year minimum.
Maybe your issues have been already solved, years ago.
