Re-create this Percussion(?) Sound

    Having trouble recreating the attached sound. I think its a kalimba or something similar any help?

    Is that a marimba? I've heard that exact sound on a keyboard somewhere. Sounds like 2 tones played together.

    it doesn't matter what sound it is :Find the correct root (tonal) note and use any vst you like find the start point of the sample put your note there match your ADSR ,compress and EQ it then put reverb and delay! to find the correct pitch use a spectrum this will help you with EQ as well, when you are in the same hz as your sample you are good to go! if you are using presets make sure you are loading (keys or plucks) you dont need low frequencies! your notes must be between C2 and C3 appropriate eq will give you the result!
