Hi boys, I recently installed "Evolution Strawberry" in my Kontakt 5.5.2. But when I try to open the instrument (in this library there's only one instrument), kontakt output and error, there's a screenshot below.
Why? How can I solve?

You must delete the nicnt file, then create a new one.

 

You mean create a new blank .nicnt with the same and replace the one existing?

I get this error occasionally and fix it with this method. It's very common. You must be new to Kontakt libraries. That's fine! If you have any other problems, there are plenty of people on here who will help you out.

i would uninstall remove from regedit and xml file, make a new ninct and re add , check regedit also to see if listed multiple times?
or
try batch resave but i think 1st is better option, they might also be corrupt nki

I installed another library "The Giant Piano" on Kontakt, and everything works fine with this one...so the problem is about that "evolution strawberry" library

 

The same solution applies to many errors. Deleting the nicnt file and replacing it with a new one fixes the problem, you stubborn dummy.

Man I hadn't solved the problem yet. I think it's it concerns the compatibility between instrument compiled file (.nki) and library or Kontakt itself!

Hope someone could solve it one day!

 

For your problem with Evolution Strawberry I could send you a copy of the NKI file ... but I saw that you use MAC ... I do not think they are compatible

the snpid in the Nicnt-file (library) and the XML file (service center NI) should be the same, if they don't match then you have this problem that Kontakt will pop up this message when you try to load the library.

 

You mean an exact copy? Well I could make it...but how to transform snpid to xml?

 

Hello, seriousofficial I did exactly what suggested by modifying the xml file consistently with nicnt (I used notepad ++), I cleaned the registry from any previous reference, restarted the PC and added the library again ... but everything is like First, it starts to think that the file nki is damaged, or is something else ... but I do not know ...

Does anyone know if there is a quick way to move libraries within Kontakt?
Currently I have to select and hold down the left mouse button to scroll through the other installed libraries (which are so many) but it's slow and boring
