  4. I'm jealous of the kid's skills. I can play hand drums, frame drums, bongos, Cajon, shakers and rattles like nobody's business as my sense of rhythm is solid and reliable, but for some reason could never see my way around the feel to be able to use a kick pedal. It has been a great sense of frustration forever, and forever is a really long time.

    Which brings as to the philosophical question: Is "forever" less than "infinitely", more or are they synonyms? Is time even being evolved? If I feel frustration forever, do I look into the past? And if I feel infinitely frustrated, do I look into the future?

    At least one thing I can say for sure: I can't play any of the mentioned instruments, at least not in a musically meaningful way :rofl:

    @realitybytez I feel you!:guru:

    If you can tell what this is just by looking at it, you know you've grown old.

  7. Once you hook into the days of futures past, yesterday will seem like tomorrow every single moment, but if you forget, just remember, and once that you do, it is, has been and will continue to be...amazing!

  9. A pencil upside down with the erasure in the sprocket worked for me when things got ugly and messy.

    Its so frustrating to see how much frustrated people seem around here... I'am addicted to harmony and I guess the reason I hate reading most of your personal quarrels is ... I'am getting old too.

    @tulamide I would say your instinctive worry about the baby is not a sign of getting old. It only shows you are (always have been) an empathic person. (Of course hidden behind a hard and manly cover. :winker:)

    The thing is, if you get older and be a father or mother, you look at such scenes way more relaxed. So maybe the opposite is right. A baby pretty sure shows what it likes or not. And most parents are probably over protective if you take a look back at how the kids in 60ies, 70ies or 80ies got raised. My mom let me drum the hell out of her kettles and lids. At family parties most adults let me try booze or cigarets, sometimes i found dirty books and watched them etc. but nothing did any harm. My ears are still brilliant, i rarely drink and don't smoke anymore.

    Btw. my 2 yo daughter once tried to forbiddenly enpower the hifi-system and turned the volume up to MAX! before the CD player started. She pretty much got blown away from the unexpected loudness. And i felt so sorry and guilty, because i watched her secretly behind the door and then tried to reach the hifi system to turn it down. But it was only my panic wich made her cry. Few days later she did it again and this time to test me. So kids aren't as harmless as they seem. :dunno:

    Thats right. And if things got ugly and messy, it often was a drama because you mostly lost the most loved songs.

    Indeed. Lol
    But to late. (Already in School.)

    She was always a lovely little ... brat, so it would have been better to put me in da treatment at a health resort instead.

    Oh yeah, for cassettes, but this is a VHS rewinder. VHS tape was harder to roll back.

    Beware of these overly nice comrades. If you count on their opposition (or their contribution, I do not know for sure), they will remove all the other possible stripes in all nations and flags and at last only these will be left: images.jpg

    Though I know that the situation was serious for you, in my mind I see a picture of overwhelming cuteness (like a two yo falling on her back while her hair is blown strong from the music, or the same girl teasing you with a grin on her face while her hand reaches the volume knob). And many thanks for clearing things up. I have no children, so this may be a factor. I probably very rarely see the mean side of toddlers :)
