Hello,i am new to this forum and to EDM as well (Still learning)i want to know if their is some sort of player to play (To loops) a loop,that short sample say like drums that go 3 times BOOM,BOOM,BOOM you know,Magix music maker works ok but only with teyr own samples.So i need a kind of player to buil a song whit different loops,all repeating but at the same time to be able to create a song (multy traks)Sorry for my english im from Romania !

u mean like a rex or loop player where you can split the sounds into midi sequences then to play them separately? ...slicex is the first in mind that comes to me now and i guess its the best, or impact from Studio One if you use that ...you can load a loop into it then select the sound on each pad, slicex does this automatically so got to work if u have them, cheers ...

i think you are looking for a new DAW to replace the magix thing. in DAW like Ableton live, cubase, logic you can do exactly the things you are looking for. if you do not have the money to buy them you can check out reaper.fm as well. its nearly free(demo has no restrictions). the ambiloop thing looks pretty cheap. but if it works for you. there are free sample players out there aswell (like shortcircuit) if you are looking for a VST.

 

Ableton Live 8 def. what your looking for.

 

Like Tek909 says, and One Reason, ABLETON is the way forward.

You just NEED to watch some tutorials and expect there to be a learning curve, but, once you have ABLETON on your side, you will be smashing out tracks.
