Open .wav/.ncw format VS packed in .nkx

    Hi all

    Not sure if I am imagining things...
    but it seems to me that open .wav/ncw libraries tend to have poorer disk-streaming performance

    Any thought ?

    Your guess is right. The very high quantity of files usually leads to spreading over the HDD causing slower (more) time access. In SSDs in theory should be the same.
