    Clearly, there is ABUSE of forum policy going on here

    Posting of 'premium links' (links that require users to pay for download access) is not merely illegal file 'sharing' --
    it is the deliberate criminal distribution and or sale (fencing) of stolen goods and or intellectual property known as 'piracy'

    By posting this data here, you are violating rules of this board (AudioSex) and the TOS (terms of service) of the server and or provider

    AudioSex is a ProAudio forum, established for the sole purpose of collaborative discussion regarding ProAudio and HomeStudio Recording
    Posting of WAREZ and or WAREZ discussion is strictly prohibited

    most of these posts are on autopilot. users are bot accounts, and they are designed to sign up to as many blogs/forums as possible, then immediately start posting content. this can be seen occurring on any website that doesn't have antibot measures in place, a feature/function that requires human intervention, to defeat automated signups. This of course does not mean that the individual cannot register solely on his/her own then start their automation application up. Its very similar to blackhat/seo BS. Another is spamming the forum now as I make this post.

    Just to clarify there is nothing in the rules that dictates that users cannot discuss 'warez' topics. It's all theoretical and it's just a discussion. Obviously actually posting 'warez' on the forum is another matter completely.. as is any illegal act.

    If Audiosex did ban the discussion of 'warez' and related topics then it really wouldn't have much to offer in my humble opinion. As a 'Pro Audio' forum the level of technical knowledge is, on average, extremely low. Most of the users of the site (not all, of course) are amateurs and hobbyists and I think you'd find most users of this forum are using internal 'soundcards' for their dabbling in music composition and production. Without the aspects that make this site unique (it's vague connection to another unmentioned site and that user-base) I fail to see it's value at all..

    Just something to think about if any changes to the current rules are made! :wink:

    Hi Saint, will this result in the rules changing to ban 'warez' related topic discussion? :sad:

    we don't ban warez related topic discussions;
    we prohibit posting links to warezed materials.

    those are two very different things...
