Hello, I started using ableton a couple months ago and have been trying to get a solid track together. I need some help and let me know what you think about the song I finished tonight. yes the feel of it is quite good, just keep @ it. o those fast kicks at the end aren't a good way to end a song, more sfx with a delay would be more appropriate. more dynamic buildup would have worked. nice.

You need a second idea, at least if you wana go 5 minutes.

 

Love the track, you got the vibe and energy going all the time, less is more and big plus for you, really catchy melody

Only your name is already taken and there is released stuff by some guy that is in psytrance world + lot off other on soundcloud, not so wise to be attached to that name

Otherwise, really good catchy track, it's easy to introduce more stuff and make 5 tracks in one, it's hard to use one or two sounds and build whole track and expactation, that's skills, good arrangement and just the right amount of fx, only to give it a spark, less is more and you nailed it ;)

But, since you asked for some constructive critics, work more on drums, just to give more rhythm and movement to the track

Listening to your track I always have feeling that something will explode and it never did, so it's great to finally release all the tension in some point, because that ride you have only give expectation and more you go more expectation is there, but when the track finishes you have really hard time knowing there isn't that big explosion that you are waiting for, so more hats, closed ones, maybe some little percussion sound here and there, just to give movement, some reversed claps and short fills in some areas

I had a problem before when I listen to some others work I first look whats wrong and what I don't like, so end up writing seminar about what I don't like, so the main idea is the last thing I have in mind.....you know what I like, now you know what I don't

These guys release the house stuff with the same name, so really consider change it :D

hi- just had to comment on how i dug the 8-bit sounding main synth- reminds me of the good ol days playing Legend of Zelda!

altogether the track needs just a bit more variation in my humble opinion...but it is really a great tune!
