    MixControl Pro will be discontinued!

    Code:
    http://www.teamdnr.net/mixcontrol/
On August 15th we will be discontinuing MixControl Pro, in order to make room for
MixControl Pro V2 sometime in Q4 of 2012. All MixControl Pro users will get the new
version for FREE when it is released.

The question is = when? :dunno:
And then, why excluding Universal Binary support for MAC users???
    :snuffy:

Not sure what UB is, I read the Wiki but didn't really understand... I guess it's for old Macs, right ?

And I guess the only reason is that they look forward of technology and it will be a lose of time for them to work and develop UB and keeping it up to date... Also less and less people works on older Macs...

This said it's not cool for people who uses UB, the market is very cruel ! If you're not in the right segment, you're screwed ! :snuffy:

But anyway you're more experimented than me

    @ MARJU GRLYO,

"...The operating system detects a universal binary by its header, and executes the appropriate section for the architecture in use. This allows the application to run natively on any supported architecture, with no negative performance impact beyond an increase in the storage space taken up by the larger binary..."

This is a very short sample of the definition, the full article and detailed infos can be found here (among others !) :

    'Universal Binary' on Wikipedia

So, very useful not only for developers... but for users also !

    NO - i don't think we're screwed, only excluded & neglected.
But it doesn't mean that new software is actually better than the older one! *no*
But i must admit: i'm too lazy to upgrade my MAC OS every half year....
....and to follow Apple's discriminating policies!

Exactly. I still use lots of software from the mid 2000s. It's not like it got spoiled, corroded, or rotted... LOL Great software is great software, and it will always be great [especially if there are no bugs], just like an old and reliable car, or a house, wife... cough :) hmmm or like good red wine rather. ;P
