    Hi guys!

I have a problem with the volume of this library: if I load the nki with Kontakt (both 4 and 5) in standalone mode the volume is too high and, viceversa, if I load the library with Kontakt as a plug-in the volume is too low! Do you know what It could depend?

I'm not sure I understand. I look at the .ncint file for Heavyocity Damage, and I get something like this:

    Code:
    2f5c 204e 4920 4643 204d 5444 2020 2f5c
    0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000
    0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000
It's clearly hexadecimal format. So is there a way to open this in Kontakt, and can someone please specify the procedure of creating a .ncint file with all libraries? Was that the ultimate goal?

    Thanks in advance.

    @ Diabulus in Musica,

As in my opinion the trouble that you face is rather dependent of the 'Kontakt' Engine itself rather than directly attributable at this 'Pettinhouse WarmJazz Guitar' Library, I suggest you to check rather what can be 'freaky' within 'Kontakt' itself...
Effectively, the '.nki' which you're talking, and that you load each time, is originally set to a certain volume decided by his creator (e.g. -3.0dB, -4.2dB, -5.7dB,... ), and as long that you don't modify this original '.nki', it must to have each time that it's loaded, the same starting volume.

Hence my suggestion to check the following under 'Options' :

Thus, under 'Options', select the tab 'Engine', then simply check to know if your 'Standalone' version is either set at '-6dB' or '0dB', then do exactly the same with your 'VSTi' version. If both have different settings, maybe your trouble comes from here... *yes*

Not sure at all that this could be the solution, mainly because these settings are rather made to set the starting volume of a new created 'Instrument', or to set the volume by default when you reset it (Ctrl+click)... but we never know !

    Hope it help !

    @ Sonar_Eclipse,

Here you have the conversion of your posted mixture of decimal/hexadecimal figures :

    12124 8270 (18720)* (17987)* 8269 (21572)* 8224 12124
    12124 8270 4920 4643 8269 5444 8224 12124
    0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000
    0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000

( )* : These full hexadecimal --> decimal converted figures seem to me not really logical (but maybe I'm wrong !).
Those in BOLD (2nd line) seem to me more 'logical', thus this code is a kind of 'mixture' between decimal & hexadecimal figures...
