B2 is a modular dual-engine, non-linear spatial processor featuring built-in harmonic distortion and flexible dynamics. It is our most advanced plug-in to date and is capable of both mind-bending creative effects that defy classification as well as stunningly lush reverbs. Its modular design enables an almost infinite variety of sonic possibilities.

For those of you who are numerically minded,
B2 sports some pretty darn impressive stats. First let's talk presets.

    1,141 Total Factory Resources including:

672 Factory Presets in 25 classes
96 Dynamics Presets in 7 classes
54 Engine Templates in 8 classes
319 Engine Presets in 12 classes from Breeze 1.1

    Compatiblity

B2 is available for Windows VST and RTAS hosts under Windows XP and Windows Vista, and Windows 7. Both 32bit and 64bit VST versions are provided. The RTAS version is 32bit-only currently. 64-bit AAX is planned.

B2 is available for Mas OSX VST, Audio Units, and RTAS hosts, under Tiger (OSX.4), Leopard (OSX.5), Snow Leopard (OXS.6) Lion (X.7) or higher. B2 is currently a 32bit plug-in on OSX. We are working to 64-bit OSX formats currently and they will be a free update.

it sounds awesome, really, can not finish to go back to certain presets, then again... *yes*

    > ...but rather cpu hungry

that is true, we can hope for the (somewhat) more optimised release (v1.0.1, tomorrow?)... *yes*

the sounds you get from it is worth for, i think... *yes*

I was an alpha tester for it. And yes it is a CPU HOG!!! I have ASUS G60Vx win7 with OS on 720 SSD and secondary drive 1TB SSD. And yet still this thing is a hog.
But its worth it! probably one of the best software of 2012... :D

    hello, friends,

one tip (or trick, as you like),

one can use the diffuse.dat file from b2 with breeze, getting (depending on the preset used) slightly, sometimes overwhelmingly, different (always amazingly beautiful), awesome sounding results... *yes*

(of course, i have experimented with aether too, but its architecture is seemingly more strict or less generous, at least in this regard)... *no*

first, back up your breeze's diffuse.dat, then overwrite it with the one from b2, then test the presets (alternatively, you can render some of your all times favourite presets with the original data file, then with the changed one for comparison), see, hear, for yourself if it is worth it (for me it works beautifully)... *yes*

all the best, keep up the good work...

    hello, Kookaboo,

    > nice to see people experimenting here

    always... *yes*

are such souls such a rarity here?
as fairly new a user, i can not be certain, but that would be a pity... *no*

it is (sometimes) best to use things for (originally) not intended purposes...

keep up the good work... *yes*

from all that is possible, i wish you the best...
