Don't take this the wrong way, but I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from anyone from Essex.

I know because that's where I'M from!

Yes it is. It's just a standing joke that you never buy a second hand car (for example) from a garage in Essex.

 

I bought mine in Liverpool and they wouldn't even supply the ignition key.

 

Cools plugins... Wow LOL.... So now, what is the deal with Essex County? Bad reputation due to some shifty people??? I am sure I'm not the only curious person here.

 

It's just a standing joke between people who live here. We're not that bad honest!

If you've ever watched only fools and horses (Even though that is Peckham) we are stereotyped as being shady that way, so we play along with it. Rather like the standing joke with Liverpool being the only place in the world where you can have your wheels removed (nicked) quicker than an F1 Pit crew!

PS: Audiosex (and it's relation to sister-site) give me the feeling that not a huge amount of people will pay for plugins... or well... ok, maybe not huge but a good deal... especially for THOSE plugins, are not paying... but "trying." :D

You are right... it's a complete pain in the ass to find ANYTHING on KVR ... since it's so riddled with shit everywhere.

When I got my new macbook and had to reestablish safari favorite-links, I had a hard time finding the marketplace.

But yes, very easy to sell there.

Just create a post in the marketplace and put your items on there.

To get a good idea of HOW people place sell / buying posts, go down the list of posts on that first page. All the posts are listed in chronological order, in relation to their activity. Like other forums... if you post a reply on one, it will shoot to the top of the list.

Anyhow, when you create your "sale" post, you may not get any responses immediately... which means, as the day goes on, your post will start to move lower in the list... then it'll be on page-2 before you know it... page-3, etc.

However, every 2 days (I think that's the rule), you can go to your post, and type "bump" at the bottom... which, since someone replied to your post (despite being your own post), the activity on it will send your post back to the top of the marketplace... hopefully catching people's attention.

Also an abbreviation you may see on some post titles is: WTB

it means "Want to Buy." Like, I could have a post for: WTB Sylenth (Want to Buy Sylenth).
