Although talking about it is fine, but my over all feeling is, that peeps don't know what this place is all about..
I think this place should be where peeps help eachother with issues, mainly program and music related.

Asking for directions on the iNet is just bloody stupid, use Google Earth!

Warez the train station, Warez the local pub, Warez the nearest hotel.

Bloody ridiculous!

 

Seems this will continue to happen -- most people find (or have found) AudioSex through AudioZ --
and (for whatever reason) can't seem to make the distinction between the two, or perhaps they can't
read, or simply refuse to comply.

Not sure what the solution is -- other than clarifying (defining) this point in the 'Terms' when new users join the board.
Could trim out all unnecessary text from the terms template file, and add a Warez Disclaimer in BOLD -- if not done already
Either way -- you're going to have some of that from time to time -- the best you can hope for is the occasional innocent mistake
or oversight, followed by compliance and active participation within the community.

 

They should create a "Warez" section to talk about it and mention, when you sign in, that asking for warez is forbidden on AudioSex and they will get ban if they do it (Once or twice, don't know) but they can do it on Audioz...

But come on, the link is on Audioz, the team is (I believe) the same, so of course people come here... How can you blame them ??

Most of them are newbies or stupid ! (And I was when I came months ago)

And the way to ask for warez on Audioz is not very clear when you do it for the first time...


There's a quote saying something like "One person is smart but people is stupid" you can change the way you act but you won't change people...

No, believe me it's not that clear ! When you see the link on Audioz, you see that the team and people are the same, it's not that easy to make a distinction, and in the worst case they probably say to themselves "Let's try, we'll see !"

Thats easy, warning/ban system. Seems to work on every other non music related site im on.

 

Create a "Warez" section (where you can ask for advices, like which version works/don't works, how to install, etc. or simply talk about warez in general) is indeeed a very good idea. Of course, ask directly for cracked software must remain prohibited since you can do it at AudioZ...

Although it's very annoying – it's nothing new...
On other (Fossil-) sites as vessteeklup they even ask in the chat for cracks. :phones:
But as long as there's no active moderation on a site, people will continue to post garbage
