Outer is an initial platform for chaos or strange attractor audio synthesis using coupled oscillators. 3 oscillators are summed with individual gain controls, the result is filtered by a multimode and applied to the phase of each oscillator. This development was followed by other synthesizers expanding the method, but this initial platform has its own unique properties and timbral possibilities.
2 LFOs include an extensive collection of sixty contours, including several strange attractors.

Black combines a 3D oscillator form with "chaos" producing filtered feedback to produce a complex textural synthesis engine with several degrees of continuous variation. 2 "performance modulator" LFOs feature 60 contours including a selection of strange attractors and atypical sequencing options. Since the way to use Windows-Vst's on Mac OS is described here, allow me a small off-topic question: Is the reverse way (likewise easily) possible, to use Mac Vst's in Windows ?
There are several interesting free synths/fx only for Mac OS, especially the Hartmann Neuron VS 1.56. I would like to have a VM with a Mac, and reroute MIDI to it / Audio from it, but I recently even failed to create that VM/Install the OS (Mountain Lion) with Vbox...hackintosh would be a possibility, but I think it's a bit of an overkill, and costs time+money.
The original Hartmann Neuron for Windows works, but is instable and not reliable in a production environment (and needs a Nuke controller for proper handling), though it's release group made some code enhancements.

 

i'm not on Windows OS but i think with this Java jVSTwRapper( http://jvstwrapper.sourceforge.net/#ladspa ) that works either on Windows, Mac and Linux you could do the bridge...
and do a little Google search, for sure there is something useful out there!

Thanks, but jVSTwRapper is a development tool (a library), not a wrapper like wacvst, from what I understand.
Of course I googled and yandexed this question, but I only found the usual "How to run a Windows vst on a Mac". Someone asked my question even here, but that was in 2013, so I hoped there would be some progress since then.

Since the windows world lost Alchemy to the Mac, I thought, at least someone should have had the wish.

 

i think you can run on Windows a Virtual Machine, Virtual Box or VMware, and then use for example Minihost from IL to run the AU and VST..
