Hi RainMan, I think he was reffering to the old EWQL Symphonic Orchestra, not the Hollywood series, which some intruments have been reworked by a guy called Michael Sax.
Clarinets, Oboes, F.Horns and Percussion are already done. Interesting stuff.

What is the actual pixel Dimensions for the new wallpaper size under kontakt 5.6.5?

 

WELL I can't pin it down. 535 x 101 or 536 x 100 anywhere in here will fit just right. However, that is to have it sit in the pocket. I think they look better when resized and added to a template. What you really get as far as graphic wise is 533 x 62 if that makes sense to you

that doesn't seem right. the new 5.6.5 browser under windows loads a short wallpaper by default, not the longer width like earlier versions

One of the problems with Kontakt v5.6.5 is that you cannot stretch the horizontal dimensions as in previous versions. That being said, I have suggested to wallpaper designers to focus upon keeping the library info/graphics as far to the left-side as possible. Otherwise, the info will not, and cannot be seen within the tab. But basically, any graphic that fits into the tab's vertical frame should be alright. The problem lies within Kontakt's new horizontal limitations (which I continue to be puzzled as to the purpose of their imposition). So, if budding designers are creating exotic and colorful images across the tab's entire canvas, they should know that the latest version of Kontakt will not display their hard work across the entire spectrum.

well I use 5.6.5 on a mac 13. and now that you got me fuckin with it, I've found that 534 x99 fits pretty good

well if the paper isnt sized just right 5.6.5 will automatically "tile it"

 

I've been adding different sizes for the past hour and without a template, taking one of our wallpapers and resizing it to 534 x 99 fits rather well kontakt 5.6.6 now

 

heres 5.6.6 with wallpapers 633 x 98 resized to 533 x 62 with a template. Except "vocalise" I just did that one resized to 534 x 99 with no template

 

so look at the two "vocalise libraries" in this shot, the top is resized to 534 x 99 without a template and the bottom is resized to 533 x 63 with a template

 

But, notice how difficult it is to read the smaller tab display. As I said above, the "vertical dimensions" have remained unchanged with Kontakt's latest version. Plus if one has a large screen display, the smaller size is almost impossible to read.
