    Hey AudioSEX brothers 'n sisters,

I would greatly appreciate if you'd check out this beat I made and give me some (useful) feedback. I've been trying to get my music a little bit louder, but I think it didn't work out that good, so if you'd focus also on the arrangement itself that would be super nice! :mates:

I can use all the feedback I can get, thanks in advance!

    Peace from Amsterdam!

Reverb the clap that's layered under the snare. Good trap style beat overall.

Thanks for your reaction, you 2 are totally right about that clap. It's dry, I made this in the morning @ 5 o'clock so I missed some things. I also realise I didn't cut out the hihat's low frequencies. I was too tired haha, forgive me :wow:

Anyone got anymore feedback? I'm currently learning stuff about mixing etc. so please, don't be shy to leave some comment

    Thanks you! :mates:

Like the composition very much, cool vibe you got there :)

As everyone said earlier, clap, personally I hate claps and mix them quietest possible, really love punchy tight snares that cut the mix with kick like a razor, but personal taste :)

Kick have really nice low end, bass is tight, but again personal taste, love when bass dominates lower frequencies :)

Fix that clap and everything will come together well, it's hard to listen other parts because of the clap :)

    What's good Amsterdam Pirate,

I would add a tubular bell (pitched correctly of course) at the beginning of each section that the bassline drops to add an epic feel to the track. Also, use some 808 booms! The kick drum is nice and punchy, but in addition to the bass line section, make a breakdown section with an 808 boom that kicks you in the nuts. Make use of snare drum fills.

The overall concept of the song is solid and it's obvious that you listen to a lot of trap music. It just needs a few more "bells and whistles" if you know what I mean.

If you want to hear some trap music to research and model, check out a producer named Shawty Redd from Atlanta - he single handedly created the trap genre in my opinion.

Good luck and best wishes to you and your music.

Thanks for the tips, I already know it's gonna add to the track in a positive way. I'm really glad someone who knows trap music says the concept is solid. Gives me motivation to make it a proper mixdown eventually

If you have any more tips/advices mixingwise or whatsoever please let me know *yes*

    Peace!
