Just A/B'ed my SYS-8 to the newly released Jupiter 8 & Juno 106 plug-outs. Exact same thing. Happily returning my System-8 tomorrow. It's now just a $1500 cheaply built 49 key controller with ugly green LEDs.

Also. Can anyone give me a link to someone I can contact about helping to make these available on the sister site?

    So there's even the System-8 as a VST. :D

"It's now just a $1500 cheaply built 49 key controller with ugly green LEDs." - I absolutely agree. :)

my favorite synth last year - roland system-1, and upgrade one, roland system-8, completely new sound color and quality output comparing with other 'hardware xxx emulation ' shit.

[strike]guess the installers can only be downloaded from the cloud account :([/strike]

iirc the previous plugouts had pretty stupid protection...

Anybody with info how to reach Copylefter Hexwars would be appreciated. I have both the cloud sub and a System 8

I never owned a Jupiter-8, but from MANY YouTube videos I can hear that the JP-08 (the "Boutique") sounded lifeless compared to the original. I'm curious if the PlugOut is any better.

yeah but they sorta fixed that i think, but now that i think of it there was a trick it... need to try this. but need the normal installs and not the cloud versions, there's a difference in the protection with those

Okay, can someone in short explain what Roland Cloud is. I don't quite get it. Is it like a subscription based host to host vst's from roland or something ?

Awesome. Can't wait to hear how they sound compared to TAL U-NO X and Arturia's Jupiter 8.

I add a bit of Tube Saturator if soft synths sound a bit dull.

As an owner of a Jupiter 8, Jupiter 6, Juno 106 and Juno 60, I would like to compare these as well.
