Really ??? No !!! You never work for I don't know... Arrangements, co-composer, etc... ??? Never ??? Or you play an instrument ? Probably !

Because you got a nice melodic feeling ! The music shared on forums are usually very poor melodically speaking. I mean, I don't care about Bach and such but we usually listen to weird beats and awkward melodies...
Your notes are well chosen, times too, everything is at the right place, that's cool !

I should perhaps have been more clear in my opening post. While it is only the second full song I'd ever written, it was a few years ago now. Just a bit of a nostalgia moment going on.
While that may cast a different shadow over some of the replies, like all my pieces from then 'til now, they are production wise seldom put down any cleaner or less rough and ready.
If I can't rock, at least that's the way I'll roll.

The lyric had to do with a megalomaniac, god complexed ruler of a far off planet finding the Earth with the aid of their greatest scientists in order to transplant their race because their planet is dying. He of course must cleanse the Earth before their arrival.

 

Sounds a fun concept, But f#ck me, he's going to need a lot of cleaning product and a mothership full of tp to cleanse this old sh1t hole

The idea of believing in "the other", that that which skirts the mundane can and will open one up finally to possibilities outside of the box and in a higher understanding of that which is outside of the formal day to day reference. A belief in the magic which is kept at bay by ones rigid system of belief.

 

Even though we're let down frequently, as we surely are these days, I still choose to believe Humans will eventually evolve to make a difference that benefits the whole and not just the self.

I'd get AL1 the Logic Machine on to it, but you know, the prime directive and inferior species and all that.
