Love it ! I wasn't aware of this. Thanks. A bit too minimal maybe but huge points in managing to sound different,futuristic and great theatrical vocal performance as well. Brings some Residents reference to my head, with no apparent resemblance though. Excellent

Awesome track. Thanks for turning me on to it. I can't listen to "regular" any more, I just loose interest and feel it a waste of time. Maynards' V Is For Vagina is about as mainstream as it gets for me these days.

Everything (#13) sounds crunchy and distorted but not in a pleasing way. Are your levels too hot?

 

That's what i had in mind when i mixed it, sounds pleasing to me though. ^^
The levels are fine, I think, maybe a bit to loud though. I have distortion on the perc, kick, snare, and some other parts.

Does it bring you some kind of feeling? Other than discomfort over the "crunchyness".

 

Been mixing and producing all day, so the ears aint that fresh, will probaly re-mix it later today and make it more "smooth".

 

I've re-mixed it a bit now. Sound better? I feel like i have to feed it to the limiter pretty hard to get the result I want, sounds so weak if I dont.

I really need help with this one! How would you lite the chorus to be? What kind of intrument? what kind of melodi? To me, this beat is complicated to finish. Help!
