Spectrasonics - Omnisphere vs Atmnsphere?

    Does Spectrasonics Omnisphere supercede Atmosphere, including features and sound, so make Atmospeher obsolete?
    Or does Atmosphere have features and sound that Omnisphere doesn't?

    Also... which version of Omnisphere to DL; the one by Valter76 (4.06.2012) or by Pirat (15.03.2012)?

    atmosphere is the pre version of omnisphere i think it came out in 2002 and omnisphere in 2007.
    omnisphere includes the atmosphere library. the same for trillian and trilogy.



    i still use atmosphere - because its a bit smaller and when you dont need anything big it works perfect.
    you can also use the Atmosphere, Trilian und trilogy Library in omnisphere only - as you can see in the picture below.

    you need all 6 DVD's for Omnisphere and the latest Update of the VST and the Soundsource. should be be around 56-57GB.

    My STEAM folder takes 77.8 GB,
    Omnisphere with Trilian.
