"The most, the best, the highest..." shity words spreaded to sell more and more. Let the users judge what is "the best, the most...the bla, bla, bla". I don't trust this kinda of companies and i never support them.

Then there will be very few companies you can support - nearly all of them uses terms like that!

This plug has been out for years now so I doubt there will be many bugfixes .... the news is it has become native thats all!

I have runned it in Powercore platform for some years, but unfortunately TC Electronic desided to stop futher develop of Powercore way back :dunno::sad:

They should give this for free for powercore users! I invested a lot of money in the system 6000 powercore

Maybe this means they'll end up putting out an updated 64-bit Intel-compatible TC Works at some point? It had one of the best vocal compressor plugs (the "Compressor/De-Esser") ever.

I get why there's a lot of hostility over TC Electronics, though. I made the mistake of investing in a Konnekt 24D interface a few years ago, only to have them discontinue it that same year (though they still make drivers for it ... for now). I can't even imagine what people who bought a Powercore and invested in a bunch of now-useless powered plugs went through. They seem to stop support for their products at the drop of a hat.

Exactly. Always trust only your own tests and ears. Being a well known brand is also not a guarantee that it's a top product.

Of course their reverb is the best, most sophisticated, innovative, this and that... :winker:

Imagine they worded the advertisement like this: We just released a native version of our ancient VSS reverb from the 90s that sounds sub-par to most of other, newer reverbs today. You can buy it if you really want to, we don't care. It's shit anyway. Just for kicks we protected it with iLok so the price would be more steep for this old crap, and people would think it's worth more than it actually does. :hahaha:

Joking aside, there is much truth to what I just said. I know TC reverbs. It is a really good and flexible TC reverb, a workhorse, but nothing special. It is nicely versatile, with loads of different and useful parameters you can tweak. However, Lexicon bundle, Valhalla, LX480, Phoenixverb, for example, sound better and more realistic to my ears. YMMV!

That doesn't mean at all that I wouldn't like to have this one too though! More colour is always welcome!

    Cheers! :headbang:
