I usually bounce my instrument track to save some cpu and ram and I mute the original vst's track. But I'm thinking that I can save more resources if I make Channel strip settings for all track i'm not using. But i may use in future. The problem is: how can i backup, get ready, my original MIDI of instrument track?

Exporting MIDI files sounds so boring and time consuming also because of re-importing in project whenever i have the necessity to work with, it's too time consuming!

Any ideas to get my MIDI in the project?

I have no idea what DAW youre using, But I save whole tracks with midi, vsti, and fx in Live by dragging and dropping the track into the DAW's browser, in a folder that I make in the project folder to keep it organized. In REAPER you right click on the track and save it. I do this a lot when Im massaging vocals to save them before and after the melodyne process for when I need to go back and tweak harmonies or something.

It would be helpful to know which DAW you use. I know that both Ableton and Studio One have specific functions to pull this off.

I don't use logic so maybe I'm missing the point of the question but in all the DAW's I have used I simply use the save menu option and everything gets saved in a single file. Load the project at a later date and everything is there as I left it. Have I misunderstood you?

this is not the point...Of course if i save, it saves the project. The question is REALLY more difficult. How to keep the MIDI file in the project erasing from the arrange view. Any ways?
Like Logic Pro does for audio file: if you delete from arrange view, it doesn't have to be deleted from the project too

Still don't understand. If you save a project it saves everything including all your midi data in the arrange window....unless logic works differently to other DAW's.
