Hello forum, i'm one of the millions that have installed GR and i want to know if native instruments are working on version 6, i saw that they goes more for techno software but i think that they can't leave GR Begging on the street like a dog....

 

there wasn't any word from NI about new GR, as far as I know.

if they want to stay competitive in ampsim area, they better think about it.

 

i always loved Guitar rig event if it wasn't the best but it was balanced and kinda clean...

 

Better question is when they going to release Kontakt 6

 

don´t forget the fx, until today is the best amp sim with embed effects

 

i've compared all ampsims included the overrated bias, GR it's not so bad, they had to get better the amps and include a IR nothing more....

 

but Reflektor..?

 

i have GR Pro and i never had that component

 

Guitar Rig 5 PRO comes with a lite version of it called 'Little Reflektor'. I've only used Reflektor itself so I'm not sure of the limitations of the lite version.
I do know that I have a bunch of custom IRs I can load into Reflektor, so there is that.
Plus, DJ effects for guitars.


Who wouldn't love that?

EDIT - I just loaded Little Reflektor and you can't load third party or custom IRs. With Reflektor you have the standards: .aif, .aiff, .wav plus .grir and .sdir

Mod does seem to be implying something and it would be easy enough to say that the product is discontinued if it actually was.
I'd like to see what they do with GR6. People always complained about the noise and "flatness" with the Guitar Rig sound but I never had a problem with it. I mean, I can hear the difference when using TH3, BIAS or S-Gear, I just wouldn't say I dislike the GR sound. Plus, flexibility is one thing Guitar Rig has going for it.
It works well for processing Industrial-type drums too

 

if native instruments didn't say nothing about GR continuity means that they have plans for GR. This software have a difference between the others : it's combines not only the trditional pedals, it combines with electro effects. Realy alows you to create the tone you want with much posibilities than the others ampsims
