If you count backwards from last Christmas till now, this has been probably the best year in the history of warez. The only thing left for the teams to defeat is eLicenser and Codemeter. If they pull off one or both on New Years, what will people even ask for next year?

My driving force is that without producing/writing music one of the following scenarios would be guaranteed: A). I'd be dead B). I'd be in prison for murder C). My life would suck very badly or D). Both A & B.

 

They never defeated iLok fully. iLok has only been defeated for PC. But not mac. Not complaining, but iLok has not been defeated entirely yet. It just has a major dent.

I have Cubase 9 and the new Vengeance synth and OMG THEY ARE SO GOOD. You know how sometimes you think about what if I had Cubase, and you picture yourself making all kinds of amazing music and such? Well it's true. People talk about how Cubase is a professional DAW, but what they don't talk about is how it makes YOU a professional, just using it. Like magic. When I plugged the eLicenser into my USB port a record exec showed up at my door and asked if he could pay me to make music. Not even sign me, he just wanted to pay me to make sure I don't stop making music. How crazy is that?


In all seriousness, how dumb is it to be jealous of a DAW? Of all the pieces of software you could whine about wanting, a DAW is probably the LEAST likely to influence your sound. It's just an environment to do your work in.

 

Well I don't count those as people. I count those as redundant apes. If you want my honest uncensored opinion I think certain people should have their own zoo exhibits & then we should hire a lady to purposefully drop her kid in the exhibit (a la reenactment of the Harambe situation at the Cincinnati zoo back in June this year lol) so the idiots can try handling the kid only to get shot dead by the game wardens. Lol.
Also in terms of us all being the same I mean we are all the same species of animals - a higher level of monkeys. Lol. Sure, everybody's unique. But what it all comes down to is this...

Everyone should know how to record themselves and do basic maneuvers on a DAW. I forget which singer turned producer it was on Pensado that got tired of waiting for an engineer to show up every time just to track them......

The truth is there are more good realeases then ever. All our needs are satisfied. Newer releases wont give you more talent....
