The idea that this is to stop 'terrorists' is complete nonsense. They were spying on us way before the events 11th of September. The real reason is that they want to look out for 'descent' within (that being all of us.)

The elites build their castles and they know that under a global state imposed austerity, eventually the citizens will be discontent. It looks as though people are beginning to see the initial collapse of the neocon globalist system and all of the accompanying dogma that goes with it.

    YAY!:)

  8. Thanks, I feel much better now. We all need a perpetual enemy to gather our communal hate and blame for any and all our difficulties and problems. Peace be to our adored Leader. Pray he continues to protect us from the dark force around us.

Agreed! Its a ploy to keep us in check and to know whose doors to knock on as they push forward with their globalist agenda. The more power that they gain then the more power they have to weed out the disobedient ones and to keep the ignorant among us policing the rest!

He who feels free, is free.

  11. Absolutely and positively, as well he being the last sitting president that was not under the thumb of $(-)*(-)$, the military industrial complex.

    Latest update on this.

The European Court has thrown this Charter (at least in it's present form) out, as a safeguard against implications for future governments, which may wish to use the information for 'other' purposes.

But it was going on already illegally - and it isn't going to be stopped by the ECHR.

I started re-reading 1984 just to see how it seems in a new, present-day context.

IF total surveillance is not automatically sinister, then the book loses much of its menace. Thirty years ago it was a warning, now it's a handbook.

If previous state Governments had had the surveillance power of the internet, we would never have overthrown them.

My greatest opposition stems from the fact that I simply don't wish to be observed all the time. Not Because I want to do terrible things, but because I want to do normal human things. It's fuvking Game Over man!

  14. @G String .. You just cannot be yourself if you know that whatever you do, say or your movement is being watched and tracked 24/7. As you said, and I paraphrase, it is not a matter of being afraid of being caught out doing something "illegal", but only feeling free to be one's self within the circle we draw around ourselves, within our autonomous zone of personal privacy.

They got that one in, because too many people are watching the X Factor, Britain/USA got talent and other pointless nonsense.
    Nothing to see "Move along"!
And by the way, we were never free.
    Just an Illusion.
