WoW it seems like all the Team's don't like us Mac users any more iv just bin seeing things for pc lately nothing major put hardly nothing for Mac maybe the new things are harder do ?

 

yeah youre totally right, all the major software releases are coming out daily from a huge variety of PC only teams.

Yep Kook is right... But there's still a few things ! Brainworx bx_rockrack is very cool (It's gonna be here soon I hope) and a lot of other stuff that no one never tried or succeed yet. I have some few names in mind SSL Duende plugins, the Slash Amplitube, the 64 bits BFD2 on Mac, IRCAM plugins (Don't think they exist on Mac AU) and, and... I know there's so many other stuff, and more important ones but I can't remember right now... But they're maybe not as revolutionary as they were in the past...

I think I heard something saying that no one is able to crack iLocks anymore ? Or something like that, so that's a big problem but new guys will probably come up !

The Teams never liked Mac users to begin with. Don't you remember ASSiGN's farewell message?

If you guys keep begging and complaining eventually there will be no Teams left. Be grateful for what you have. Spend less time downloading and more time actually producing

That Mac/Win "war" is pretty boring... I can't believe teams are stupid enough to hear that shit. (But as their's stupid people their's probably stupid teams, or stupid people in teams)

I'm on Mac since a year only, I don't think myself as a "real" Mac user, but it's very boring when I hear those crap, equally boring when it's about Mac or Win users !

Even ASSiGN did serve the MAC community, sometimes with good results, sometimes not.
Only your own resentments make you believe that nobody liked MAC users.
Correct your view and it will be okay.

iLok has been cracked. Both the eden and the 5.8 version. Look at the brainworx that was out by ATeam sometime back. That was iLok 5.8. As for Eden, there are quite a few people running Protools 9. As for the requests, understand that this is mostly just a thankless job. I dont think teams like ATeam and VR are getting paid to do this! SSL Duende and IRCAM arent the end of the world, and yes they do employ really strong protections. There arent as many tools as the PC world.

 

Please stop crying!

If you strongly need special software in order to make music, just buy it. You had enough money to buy an overpriced mac, so don't complain!

Otherwise buy a pc - or install Windows on your mac via Bootcamp or whatever the name is - and enjoy the diversity of available plugins. And let me assure you: If you use Live, Cubase, PT, Reaper, WHATEVER on mac or pc - it doesn't matter, there is no difference at all!

If both options distract you, go buy yourself a real instrument like a flute or an african thumb piano, but stop crying here.
