Arturia MiniFilter V For FREE (Offer Ends December 25th)

Arturia is giving away the MiniFilter V virtual effect as a free download on their website. To claim your free MiniFilter V license, you must add it to your Arturia user account before December 25th.

 

If you install this for free...what about the other R2R Arturia collection ON YOUR SYSTEM? will those be scanned by Arturia service center also?

is this any comparable, better and/or equal to the UAD's Moog Filter?

 

Downloaded and installed. In Logic X it made a sound ruining my teeth first after activation so sound output. So not working in Logic X for me. In Ableton plug in even not shown in plug in list.Checked directory. VST not installed. On Arturias FB page peeps confirmed the problems. So they fucked up this present

 

I've seen more people saying it works than not in the Facebook comments

 

I picked it up yesterday but haven't yet installed it. I have a registered SparkLE installed running next to R2R synths that I installed to audition that I never use for nuthin'. Everything plays well with each other though. Thanks kind of for the reminder to uninstall them.

 

Downloaded and installed without any problems. There's a significant difference between the UAD Moog filter in that Arturia's version is restricted to low pass mode and non-adjustable pole options, but does have a step sequencer. Sonically, it sounds comparable to UAD's Moog filter with matched settings, but without the option for filter mode its probably not a plugin I will be using much, even with the step sequencer.

i installed it yesterday but didnt get around to test it out. i'll shot a quick one here later tonight with my impressions

 

Hmz not sure if I'll use it but always nice to have I guess. Although my nr.1 filter is Cytomic The drop. Also used the Moog from UAD btw.

a quick followup on this one.

i use this tool everyday now! the sound you can get from this, is just.... addictive!
turning knobs havent been this much fun since hardware days

the sound on the "distortion" part isnt really doing anything for me. but thats okay, there are other tools that does a better job at that.

i would like it to use less cpu than it does, and it would be great with more options and routng like in "the drop". but the sound and colour makes up for it.

but, if you havent played with this one yet, have a go at it!

 

There's an update which solved the cpu issues for me in logic x . I haven't had no issues running it .

 

@DKB Thanks man! i updated it now and so far it seems better than before on pc/live 9.7
