I am using cubase 8 elements and now a huge problem has happened; I have tried installing the v9 extended but didn't like the interface (which is getting worse with every new update!) so I don't know if this had any influence; the problem - when using additional monitor and starting the mix console full screen on it the menu buttons move them selves to the mix console! - of course they don't work, and even though no buttons appear on the main screen the buttons are there and appear and work when you click somewhere; there is no fix for now; it seems that v9 introduced this problem somehow because it first happened with v9 and the program crashed with windows 7 displaying a weird message - something like 'next time this program starts windows will apply compatibility...'

Let me just say I am testing now and it appears to happen when I extend the desktop during a cubase session; it seems to work fine if I extend the desktop before starting cubase..

 

Yep - it happens every time when I change the desktop settings during a session. No problems if I change the settings before starting cubase - it would appear for now.

 

Please watch your language. Last warning. Cubase does not have any problem. It's the manifest example of perfection. The problem is with you.

Not really smart to ask for help and then insult the same people you are asking help for. If you have something against the "electroidiots" why don't you go whine in another forum? You're clearly at the wrong place.

 

I don't have two monitors and I don't have Cubase. One thing's for sure: If it is related to Cubase 9 and if you can invoke the issue each time by repeating the same sequence of actions, it is a bug that you should inform Steinberg of - not audiosex.

And offtopic my opinion:

Using 2 monitors with pro 8 no problems. Fwiw, most of the EDM guys I know play an instrument or two. I've been playing piano for most of my life and guitar for half.
