Hi, I am trying to install Omnisphere 2 to my macbook pro laptop. There are 80 gb left. There are 80 gb left on my hard drive. I am receiving the " insufficient disk space message. I am installing Omni 2 dynamics/ proper version. Should I disregard the message ( which is what I did) and continued installing? However, to me it seems like it is stuck on the " installing data" page. The blue line is not installing anything. Does it sit there for a LONG period of time? I have read tons of forums, installation notes, etc. I need some help please. I have also uninstalled and installed this at least 10- times. I used Easyfinder to remove ALL traces of spectrasonics/ and steam folder. I restarted my computer and installed- receiving this message. Thank you!!

You probably don't have enough space. I think the sound libabry alone is about 64 gb if I'm not mistaken. Try installing it to an external hard drive. I wouldn't recommend installing it to your system drive anyway.

My hard drive says 80gb are available.. Don't I need to install it on my macbook 1st, then move it over to an external thru a steam alias?

Im not a mac user but i remember i saw this on the their forum. So turn of timemachine if you have it running..

'Insufficient Disk Space' Message During Installation - Mac
If you receive an Insufficient Disk Space error message during the Omnisphere/Trilian installation process, but are certain that your destination drive has sufficient free space, turn Time Machine off, then on, then re-start the installation process.

This is discussed in further detail here:

    Hope it helps..

Hope all had a merry Christmas. Thanks, me turning off time machine got rid of the issue. I have now installed all of the disks in step 1. In the end I received the " installation successful" message.
