So it was mostly purchases of plugins that are not yet cracked. What about the try-before-buy ones? Anyone bought ones that used to use illegally?

Yeah I got repro-1 as well, but it was actually a day or two before all the Black Friday stuff popped off. The two weren't really related. I just wanted to pick it up while it was 70 bucks

Well Repro is currently in public Beta, so no point cracking that. Lots of guys got Diva, which is cracked. I saw Arturia once or twice, been cracked. I saw a lot of Eventide and Soundtoys... cracked a year ago. Same with Air and Sonivox, which got a couple mentions. Xils Lab. McDsp. Both cracked. I can't think of anything mentioned in this thread that hasnt been cracked... except some of the Acustica stuff. Not sure if that one has. I don't recall seeing it but I've barely been paying attention the past year

Sorry, I'm on mac so I didn't know these ones are cracked on pc. At least on a mac the most aren't.

BTW @Talmi I figure you of all people will know this... can you explain to me wtf the layout of the voice detuning section of the trimmers module is supposed to mean in Diva? The manual has no (sufficient) description about the significance of the individual knobs in this grid of knobs and the Groove3 tut kind of sucks for this one. I understand that it's it's per voice detune, but I have no idea how it assigns which voice gets played when, which knob correlates to which voice, how to predict and manipulate the outcome, etc.

For once, I'm a little underwhelmed by a u-he manual. :dunno:

@Cav Emp sure thing, I enjoy that part very much, and Diva is with SynthX2 by Xils, it's the most complete on the voice detuning side of thing andfor those type of classic hardware emulation this part is important. OPX pro 2 doesn't come close on that side.

Each line represent each oscillator - of which you can have up to three - and there are 8 knobs on each oscillator line which reprsents pairs of voices for each oscillator: example knob one on line one is voice 1 and 9 of oscillator 1 and dot 1 lighted on the left is voice 1 being activated when it's dot 2 on the right of the first column which lights up it's voice 9 which is activated, each oscillator can have up to 16 voices, so knob 8 of line 3 is voice 8 and voice 16 of oscillator 3, if you chose an triple oscillator synth obviously - so when dot 1 lights up and you have a triple oscillator config going on it means that voices 1 or 9 of oscilator 1, 2 and 3 are engaged (you know which voice according to the fact that it's the dot on the right (voice 9)or the dot on the left (voice 1) that lights up, sorry I'm a bit unclear, but if you try you'll understand, basicelly the voice(s) that lights up and is(are) activated depends on how many oscillators you chose how many global voices you picked and how much global stacking you do if you chose and if you play plyphony or not, with a high number of voices sollicitated according to all those factors a lot of lights will blink and a lot of voices will be played together and/or one after the other depending on youur setting and the tuning part of the panel for individual voices allows you to control how messy it all gets).
So here for each pair of voices of each oscillator you can pick different degree of detuning (in addition obviously of the global detuning you got going and the global stacking you got going too, which all togetheir can make a lot of noise and detuning if you wish it to, that's where that happens)...

The voicemap thingy which is right below the voice detuning panel. Anything that is modulabe in Diva can be modulated by those knob and create an ofset evrytime you hit this voice. It's an easy way to modulate at fix value and create well..an offset with the activation of voice 1, or 2 or whatever.
Variance on the right is nice too, also it works at global level only.
Did you try the different filter and oscillator modules ? Cav this synth is really a dream synth.

Nice! I understand now - thanks bro. I knew you'd have me covered but damned if I have any idea where you got all that. It's literally just a wall of knobs without any sort of labeling lol

And yeah of course I've been switching the modules in and out. I don't know if this is blasphemy or what but I really like the digital one. Some interesting and unique options there.

Yeah man... When you stop spending your time looking for workable download links, trying to circumvent false flag virus detection and auto removal of keygens, wrestling with permissions in windows to patch files in Program files etc., it leaves a hole in your life. I decided if I was ever going to feel normal again I'd have to spend that time actually making music :)

@Cav Emp I just had previous experiences with similar arrangement for the tuning of the voices (opx pro 2 has a similar but simpler matrix), but still I had exactly the same wtf reaction as you, and it took me a bit of fideling to figure it out...
Yep the digital osc is crazy, it's digital but like bazille from an old era (actually older than bazille which recrates the Berlin era, basicely mid 80's), something special...

Tough choice. FWIW I probably use Presswerk more, but there are lots of great compressors out there and I don't think anything does what Satin does, better than Satin.

I've bought Tantra from Dmitry Sches.

    EDIT:
Diva for 111 ¤ was too tempting... Thanks Oysters for the heads up!

Presswerk is cool but nothing that you can't find elsewhere...Again a great compressor but nothing unique. Diva is unique and it goes right now at the same price as presswerk which never happen before and won't happen again...If you can get diva and the preset on JJR at 111$ it's a huge deal...

Hope devs realize they will sell tons of plugins if price is fair. We're willing to support. ;)
