Apparently, you're not black. So, I don't know if you know what you're talking about. I usually stay out of these kinds of discussions, but you need to walk a mile in the shoes of a black person before you entertain comments like the one you made. People just want to be treated fairly -- no more no less. In America, black folks have put up with centuries of bullshit by those who simply don't give a shit about their lives. I've been on both sides; as law enforcement and as a regular black citizen. Trust me, there are lots of angels and devils on both sides of the coin. @Herr Durr Don't get me wrong, I'm in great fear of a president Trump (as all of the western states in the world), the first reactions from our politicians show that it will be a very mean time for at least 4 years, especially because USA, who brought us all the democratic achievements (keyword re-education) after WW II, now stand opposed to all this. I can only hope Europe is strong enough to stand against despostism, polemics, populism and retrogression.
As you can see, I'm pretty sure Trump will be elected.

However, when seeing that Krugman post (as if it was that surprising!) or that China, of all things China, tries to criticise a democratic election, well, then I can't help but shaking my head and grin.

 

@tulamide Trump is a showman.. he put on a show in so many ways... there is no way he will be able to accomplish
the crazier things he talked about... it's fear of the unknown.. he's not a great man.. by any stretch..and there will be
checks and balances on him... maybe reserve judgment for a while?

this means democracy worked.. just like it did in UK... Americans see their country slipping away... and they didn't want
a baldfaced liar, fake, and CRIMINAL to be their leader, end of story... she is one among many who sold out this country,
