So I export a song that is using Spitfire Audio's Hans Zimmer Piano and notes cut out randomly, like whilst it exports it doesn't buffer the sound. I don't think it's the cpu or ram as I've never had a problem like this before. But after like 4/8 bars it suddenly plays normally, like it buffers it then works.... could it be the hard drive? like the size of the library is huge.

    Any help?

    Thanks in advance!

    What's the DAW you're using?

    Fl studio v12.3 build 72 64 bit.

    I've tried things like...

making kontakt bridged, changing buffer length and getting rid of round robbin on the library.

    Still cuts certain notes out.

I had exactly the same problem with ACID Pro 5 years ago. Nothing helped, until I gave up and moved to REAPER, which solved it.

That happens just with HZ Piano or other libs as well?

Only this library on kontakt, never happened before. This seems to be just this library. Maybe the size of it and my hard drive buffering is the issue. I could move it to my ssd, but couldn't justify that haha.

I literally just replaced it with an Imperfect Samples piano. Shame I actually liked the sound of the Hans Zimmer piano but the size is just unnecessary.

    Thanks anyway!

His libraries are huge compared to other kontakt libraries. If you need space its just not worth it.

Try with a SSD, HZ Piano needs a fast drive to work properly.

Yeah I have a 4tb hard drive, that's meant for small business servers which I "borrowed" from my cousin haha. So space isn't the issue at all. But I think this library and HZ type libraries will need an SSD to collect the samples quick as hell. The way SSDs are being priced, I'll be tempted to get a 480gb one for certain libraries. Christmas present anyone? :bleh::bleh::bleh:

Im also giving up on my WD blue disks.Slow as a fucking snail.
SSD + Velociraptor or WD black is the way to go.
SSD for samples is still too pricey imo.
