I was thinking exactly the same thing. Since when has protecting your property something to do with fear?

Funny thing that this thing has so much to be fixed - I never heard so much fixes for Sylenth or Massive. Predator still seems quite buggy.

    1. This is not a warez site.
    2. I like to try some software but if I like it, I buy it.
    3. I'm no developer.

It's just sad to see that people don't even respect the creators of the tools they use.

It's like a doctor who cures you from a disease and after you don't pay him, you are rude about him.

The loss of ethics in the warez world is more shocking to me than the loss of money.

Thanks Kook for everything you do to help the bedroom producer who is not a millionaire and all the other people who put a lot of time into giving us the best equipment in the world. If it was not for people like you, people would still have to go to studios and buy a ton of gear just to make a song and for us hobbyists out there you make it possible  for anyone to create good music!!!!!!! :headbang: :break: :mates:

Then why are you here on this site if you you do not use this stuff because almost every company offers a demo and if you are so proper then why are you not doing that :dunno: ? I am not trying to be mean but you make a remark on a site like this and yet you are here probably downloading stuff to use. :dunno: so what makes you any different then all the other people here?

Sometimes a demo is too limited to me, so I play with the cracked version. If I like it, I buy it. On my production pc, which isn't connected to the internet, I don't have installed one warezed product. On my internet machine I have installed warez, for testing. Warez forum prevent me to buy rubbish. Is that so strange?

    I didn't say I'm different, you do.

If you are looking for a difference, maybe this is it; I buy the stuff I like and respect the creator (like Rob Papen) and don't call those people 'poor'. What's the use of calling people 'poor' and want to 'crack their nuts' while you like their products? You like the product that Rob's creating (a bunch of 0 and 1) but you don't show respect to the creator of it.

The only thing I wanted to say is that I think that kookaboo's remark about fear is a strange way of thinking. A creator sees that his product is cracked, he updates the protection and kookaboo calls it 'fear'. Strange. I call it logic.

This discussion isn't about me, but about that strange way of thinking. Starting to talk about me is just a way to draw the attention away from the fact that kookaboo can't defend his point of view.

This discussion isn't even about warez but about respect. So stop drawing the attention away from that.

I will not jump into this endless debate about ethics, but allow me to point out the fact that leaked serial keys have (at least) a very positive effect for the paying customer : long time bugs are suddenly fixed at speed of light !

Should we thank you for that, Mr. Papen ... ?

(Of course, I know you're not Rob Papen, Mandy.)

    @ manducator

*no* You don't seem to understand the logic of a cracker or Pirate!
As supporters of the crack Teams we WANT to see (every!) software cracked.
That means the protection schemes of the developers defeated, removed.
If you pity for the developers or their feelings, it shows that you're not a real Pirate!
Nothing negative with it - you make your choices.

If no-one ever paid for software, who would still create software to pirate? I guess I'm not a real pirate anymore.

    Nope, peace!

    You're welcome mate! :mates:
I absolutely hate the capitalist System with its tyrannic environments and structures. *yes* So we normal people have the option to choose not to buy from them greedy and arrogant developers. Respect for those amongst them who give away for free some goodies!

It's not capitalism that you're railing against, it's corporate merchantilism. Rob Papen is hardly a major corporate player invited to Bilderberg, and consulted on how to squeeze more work and taxes for less wages out of the masses. He's a small scale developer trying to make a living in a niche market, in a harsh economic climate. In an ideal world everything would be free, but it's not a ideal world. If you can't afford his synths and have to pirate them to make your own non-commercial music, then fair enough, but appreciate that he has to protect his work or he'll lose his livelihood, then you'll have no cool synths to play with at all. And don't gloat about cracking the latest version of a product or he may decide it's worth going back to dongles.

Well said decontrol... I'm guessing Kookaboo lives with his mother and has never worked a day in his life.

And he calls the developers greedy. *no*

Oh, i see your opinions don't match with my convictions! I don't care.
But why you guys don't go to KVR or Gearsluts, much better forums for you, probably.
There you will meet all those oh so honest users.....

No, there's just a difference between us.

You seem to relish taking from developers, even the small ones.. as if somehow you are winning something...or you're 'getting back at the man"

That doesn't say conviction to me, that says entitled...

You would be well at home with the Occupy movement.

Perhaps one day, when you grow up, you will ..get it.
