Almost passive aggressive...in a good way.
Far more skilled than I so I can't really say much about the mix besides I dig it.
Maybe put his face on the apple..?

 

Piano, Synths and most sounds are thin. Runs and overhyped sounds are nasty and too distorted. Kick is basic without much life. Overall
sound of the mix, thin and basic. You do however over use sounds for ear candy that is cookie cutter at best, but at least you learned to do that.

Overall I find this "Beat" Cookie cutter as well, Basic at best and a just another copy like many of most cookie cutter beats as of today.
Learn to be original! And get some vocals on that "Beat" and finish the song! You can finish a song right?

On my scale you received a 5.5 out of a possible 10. Nice try though.

FYI...I don't do "beats". As Jimmy Jam best put it, I write Songs that I aim to be classics. As well your skills are so beneath me that don't even think I would entertain the thought of doing one just to prove you wrong, since I totally dislike you and your attitude as well as your minions here. And, I would never have the time for such foolishness. Learn some respect, earn some respect. The moment you and your "friends" realize that I am a Black, Multi-Platinum Record Producer 11 Times over Who has produced Major Acts, some that would take your breathe away and not a white guy that you foolishly keep calling me. You just might get that respect back...either way who cares. On a positive note...keep working on it, you'll get there.

The piano is the Chocolate Model 7 with some CLA waves, maybe I should use some tape saturation?

Maybe they need to disable the dislike button like last time this happened

diggin' this one @subGENRE , I like it with a lot going on.. but still balanced...
the piano sounds fine with some watery fx here and there? that guitar loop is just plain wild..

deffo better than anything I ever heard from Faoki.. or Aoki for that matter...

Lol, I had to slow it down to from 150 to100bpm to play the guitar on the keys.
I made this post generic as I could and he still managed to come in here and sh1t all over it.

What is it you actually produce?
Put your music where you mouth is or shut it.
@subGENRE I quite liked that. I did find it a bit hard on the ears in the highs, but as I know sod all about the genre, and have a headache to boot it might just be me. I'll give it another listen when me head calms down.

 

Ok, Since you asked nicely? Tape Sat might be good, but it might be Eq'ing, it's either that or your mix. Choco mod 7 is an ok piano, but there are better ones out there for the type of 'beat' you just did. All in all like I stated above it was just too thin as well as the mix. But you can change that, right?

The dislike button can be a powerful tool.

Zen is a comedian. He should give up music. Just listen Zenny boy, just listen. Besides Zenny...how do you ban someone that is not the same person who you want to ban? Never liked Sour Apple flavor of any kind but obviously you do. Just nasty!

Lastly, I would never post a picture of myself and any Artist(s) I respect...It wouldn't be a "Classy" thing to do. Plus, you should never have to "Prove" yourself to anyone, especially one that you don't know. It would be pointless as well. I have worked with many in this industry...
I was at Future the night we discovered the Neptunes (Producing Bobby Brown) by way of sponsoring a Talent contest at Princess Anne High School. Teddy Riley, Leon Silvers and Myself. I believe the year was 1992. You see that was a Contest...so then and only then should you prove yourself.

Now I do know Jay-z, I have produced or worked with MJ, Bobby Brown, Janet Jackson SWV, Guy, Blackstreet, Neptunes, Etc Etc..but have never worked with Method Man. But I wonder how he would feel if I connected just to tell him you were posting his picture to prove a silly and worthless point to someone you have never met?

As I may not sound humble because I feel this case warrants me to teach you a lesson young buck, I am humble and respected in this industry.
A wise man knows he never knows who he might be speaking to. I am an O.G. in tha Game. And I've never seen someone even act like they should disrespect me. I promise you it won't start now. It is easy to get "BlackBalled" in this industry, you agree?

Now as for Zenny, he isn't worth my time so that is why I just give him the Ratings I do and move on, he is hopeless.

Programming and ideas, fillers, creativity sound really good! The complexity is there. Mix is there; You can ALWAYS remix later. The most important factors - creativity and interest are there.

Stick with it and keep poppin out tracks. Get on a roll.

Also, listen to some MR. BILL for some extra creative direction.

I updated the mix just now. Went back in and re-eqed the synths, gave em some more mids per @blaqmatic saying they were thin sounding.
I also eqed the gtr lick a little better.
Brought up some of the layers in the metallic transition pluck sound.
I messed with the piano some, tried a few different approaches, but ended up just leaving it.
It sounds great to me.
I took the automation off the power to the transient shaper I had on the kick. (It was off in the piano parts. And automated the volume instead. So it keeps the sharp attack all the way through now. I guess 2 different sounding kicks in the parts is too much for some.

On the 2 bus I squashed the highs a little more to cure some harshness on what @The Teknomage mentioned.

I'm so sorry, but copying the master of masters, the DJ of DJs, the producer of producers, the man so humble that he produces thousands of the world's best known songs without ever being credited - that's almost a crime!
