Unlikely.
The envireonnement is hostile at best and Mars reaches 400 million km of distance from the Earth, that means 45 minutes of delay when comunicating and keep in mind that we wouldnt be able to contact the mission during their night unless he sends also satellites for comunication, or leaves the ship orbiting (and that reduces a lot the resources you can bring on the planet)

It will happen, but this is a vision, not a plan yet

Quantum Mechanics actually has nothing to do with life and death and human experiences, the observer effect (commonly mistaken with uncertainty principle) is still verified even with a non human observer..

Look, i actually studied physics and and in many years i have never heard anything about "we take our experience when we die" simply because that claim is completely untestable therefore unscientific, and quantum mechanics may seem exotic and irration but it is still a materialistic model and most important it's science, so no untestable claims

 

Contemplate on these a little in question of putting a satellite around Mars: Mars’s gravity is about 1/3 of Earth’s. Its atmosphere is about 200 times lighter then Earth’s atmosphere.

Communication distance of even an hour is not significant;y crucial especially after establishing self sustainability at the colony.

Sorry but Mars gravity is irrelevant, the satellite must be sent from Earth, with all the struggles to grow food to survive you expect the colony to build a satellite on Mars? With what? And communication is relevant, let alone communicating with families on Earth but you may still need help, metereological forecasting (crucial given Mars climate).
Plus, you would a constant shipment of supplies from the Earth, even if you can provide vegetal food, and water and air, you still need a new computer, resources (it's unlikely for the colony to establish a mine in such a short time)
