Hey there , hope everything is fine ; i had the similar problems for Iceni libary , tried everything .

Delete all of the following locations from your registry(PC Only)If on mac delete the .plist files
(Note: some of them might not be there, that's good!!)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\Iceni

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\Content
(Delete anything named Iceni, all of them must be deleted)Very important!!!!

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center\Iceni.xml

didnt work also ... i didn't found any xml file btw , i created one but still dont work . libary show up but when i want to open a multi or a solo nki it say "the patch is encrypted ..."

my kontakt version is 5.4.2 ... hope u il get my message really looking for a fix right there

Add library in kontakt and close
Now open notepad and paste this:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\Iceni]

save this as Iceni.reg now run this file

The perfect thread for my problem!
But, i have a slightly different problem involving Iceni.
So i'm on OS X Yosemite 10.10 Running a k'd kontakt version 3.10.4
I am able to add Iceni into the library tab, but when i try to load an instrument it says:
'Your new Library needs to be added before this Instrument can be used.
Please go to Kontakt's Libraries tab and press the Add Library button.'
Now, the library consists of the 'Iceni_info and Iceni .nkr and .nkc files'.
Also there is an .xml file in there. (No .nicnt as others have mentioned?)
Btw the library is named 'Spitfire Iceni' and not 'Spitfire Audio Albion' as the previous two.

I don't get it, i've never had this problem before. Anybody know what to do?

 

I have this same problem on Mac any chance of helping me out... or should I check my PM... (which you will send right?)

 

you can just fix this by adding a custom nicnt file (it should be stickied in this area of the forums) and fixing their respectful values (like snpid etc)

I did this for cinema strings, though im on windows, but it should work the same and i did this to add custom 8dio libraries

 

I have this problem too... Error is not "This patch is encrypted..." this is something different.
Few days trying to figure out how to add Iceni to my Mac computer...

And I solve it tonight!

After adding library, open Iceni.xml (It's in root of downloaded content) file and make changes to plist file at /Library/Preferences/com.native-instruments.Iceni.plist, add HU and JDX, because it's missing...



After that you are be able to open library correctly!

One more thing about batch resave of Iceni on Mac.
There is a problem with patch Darwin Percussion III, for some reason in Batch resave process Kontakt terminates on this patches... so just rename it to Darwin percussion 3.nki and your Kontakt will not hang.

I need your assistance here please. I have the same issue as the guy who has started this thread. Just for me its about Symphobia 2. Kontakt 5.2.2.880 sees Symphobia 2 library but when I get to open a patch, i get this msg " Your new library needs to be added before this instrument can be used etc..."
I have Symphobia 1 working perfectly by the way.

Any help would be much appreciated Thanks

uninstalled the kontakt, cleaned registry and re-installed but doesnt work

 

Sorry, but that's not correct. Symphobia 2 version 1.3 was released in October 2011 and should run on Kontakt 4.2.3 and above.

Just to be sure - your library is clearly visible in Kontakt tab, e.g. you added it successfully, correct?

No, the library is not visible. I added it via "add library" button, but nothing happened. Library was still invisible in the libaries tab.

I tried to add it again, this time kontakt player said "... already exists within Kontakt Libraries tab"

P.S.: If i try to add the .nki files via file browser tab, I receive this error: "Your new library needs to be added before this instrument can be used. Please go yo Kontak's Libraries tab and press the Add Library nutton."

Well it has been alredy added for heaven's sake...
I have tried everything - deleted the registry keys, the xml file, verified unique spind number and no results.
It seems that one thing that also raises this issue is changing the snpid code that comes in a factory nicnt file.

I tried that...my Iceni copy, hasn't a NINCT file, just these: Iceni.nkc; Iceni.nkr; Iceni_info.nkc; Iceni_info nkx and Iceni.xml.
The Iceni_info.nkx file has all the info present in a typical ninct file. The Iceni SNPID number is 897...checked it out against lists present around here. Well, what can I say?...it won't work no matter what.
