A song about beer. (Disclamer, may or may not be about beer).

 

I'd have to say, it's like reading a Stephen King novel. You have to read half the book before anything happens. 1:17 for an intro is just way too long. Form 1:17 to 2:24 I liked. 2:24 to 3:09 sounded out of tune. From then on was good, but needs a bit more variation. Sorry if it seems a bit harsh, but If it wasn't for me being able to see the Soundclound waveform, I'd have fast forwarded to the next track.

 

I appreciate any feedback good or bad.

I copied a format from another well known deep house track, as I was writing it I was concerned about the arrangement, but I wanted to see how it would do. It hasn't really worked, it's good to hear my instincts where right.

Something I've learnt recently by posting shorter tracks to Soundcloud, is they get a lot more plays than the long versions. A couple of days ago I posted a track that was 3:43 straight to the point and full of action. In 2 days it's been played 223 times and 5 likes. That my not sound like much, but for me it's bloody good, cos I have very few followers.

Great tip! So I'm going to make a 10 second track that's so full of sounds and twists nobody can ignore any more. Let's cater to the majority of ADD idiots that have no knowledge or feel for the music at all! Yeah! Music and art is alive after all!

Excellent. Really moves me!

I know you have got what it takes to be a good producer but you should work to the best of your abilities I mean the track is a bit simple. The improvised melodies or basses fit well but there are enough spaces to be filled with the smartly selected harmonic textures like long pads or chords (they always guide you in the production). You know what I mean. For the variations nothing to say because you're much better than me.

Why did you title the song Stupidity Breeds Hatred? I listened and was lost on this. The music is incongruent to the name.

He just condensed it.

I accept ignorance word more. No one is stupid for a musician and also he/she does not have any right to feel hatred towards anyone.

 

Song titles for instrumentals seem meaningless to me, so I try make them amusing
