Yes I did the same in one of my installations. But I found a problem with KLM 3. When add key from klib0011 to klib0100 there was no problem. The problem started from k2lib0101. In theory, you can register from k2lib0011 to k2lib0999, but this is not real. Before making my own NICNT files, I registered too with KLM 3 for all the multiformats, like you. But when I tried to register from k2lib0100, I found that library always was registered with k2lib0100 and I had to delete entry and change it manually with other key (k2lib0250 for instance). And with every library I had to check if the new key was on the Content folder, because I opened Kontakt and new library didn´t appear. It hadn´t created _info.nkx file, so some keys of k2libxxxx didn´t worked.
That was the reason because I learnt to create my NICNT files. It was a mad work to register every library with KLM and check if they were there, and now I only have until k2lib0032 registered by KLM 3. And I´m sure if I change some SNPID keys from these libraries, could reduce the k2lib keys, because I don´t like to register with KLM 3.

I think there is not a trouble with Kontakt that I will not know....

Other example. I found it works better Kontakt 5 5.5.0 than 5 5.5.2. Nevermind Tracer or R2R version. 5.5.0 opens before and some libraries like Virtual Ensemble Trilogy, Voxos, Session Horns, Bravura, Scarbee A-200, Scarbee Clavinet and a few more don´t disappear as in other versions. Apollo and Brass Solo, as if they wouldn´t exist. What is impossible, is impossible.

I'm aware of that issue. Every time I used the KLM Tool, after awhile the registry number would automatically default to (k2lib0014). But, even if you used that registry entry, it would not appear in the library tab. So, as you mentioned, you have to manually assign a k2lib number. That's a glitch for sure. But, for me, that's not a big deal.

Anyway, the other day, I trashed over 300 libraries from one of my internal hard drives (took a long time too). After wiping the tears from my eyes <lol> I asked myself WTF do I need libraries that I have not used for in years, and will NEVER use again? Before this week is over, I plan on removing another 200 or so. My goal is to narrow my collection down to about 25-50 libraries that I will use -- consistently. Since I play piano, I have more piano libraries than you can choke a horse with. Also, I''m an "acoustic" guy, so a lot of that 'other' stuff I rarely used anyway (unless we are going for a different kind of sound for our music). I had a lot of fun collecting and sampling many of these libraries, but unless some truly extraordinary library comes around, I'm done with the "collecting".:winker:

k2lib only works from k2li0101. Previous don´t work. I checked one time until k2lib0850 and it worked, but I don´t know the limit from k2lib0999 until k2lib0101. Many of them among don´t work. I think k2lib0144 never works on my computer, for instance. I prefer NICNT files, of course.
And mine is collection. Also don´t need 2000 libraries, of course.

In the Registry Kontakt Content folder, I have an entry for Orange Tree CoreBass Pear with a k2lib5005 string: Kontakt Registry Content04.jpg
I had forgotten that I even owned this particular bass library. I checked the Kontakt library tab folder, and the library was not there. So, I think you're correct when you say the k2lib string's limit stops at 0999. To make a long story short, I changed the string to k2lib0682 and the library appeared (almost like 'magic') <lol>

I looked on Spitfire's site and can't find that particular "collection". Or, are you referring to a generic "bundle" type package?

I'll put one together for you. I found a "Spitfire Audio Sable" graphic.

Sorry I forgot that. Yes, I saw sometimes that kind of keys, but only in official libraries. It´s curious but I just discover I have that library and I didn´t add to the tab. And I have nicnt and wallpaper, but SNPID is 55f and it´s not unknown for me. Go to check it now.

I know now why the library wasn´t registered. "No library found" with my nicnt file. But I added anyway with KLM. Until k2lib0100 no problem and I go for k2lib0037.

Yes. Sometimes, all that is required, is to replace a problematic library with a new and unused k2lib string. Not always 100%, but often will correct some issues with a tab that refuses to show.

Never heard of this one as a Kontakt library (but, I know of the keyboard). When was this published?

It´s a multiformat, of course, but when you unpack files you find some folders like Bank-A, BANK-B, KORG DRUMS and others. I only copy/paste some of them and created other folders, deleting files exs, fxp and sxt. It´s not a Kontakt library, only includes nki files and samples distributed among all folders. Really is not designed for Kontakt, but I did an adaptation because have read in some place that it has the sound I was looking for. But it seems not, althought I haven´t heard all the sound still.

The release is on the sister site:

Okay. I'm going to disassemble the files like you did and just keep the nki files, and check out those sounds. Who knows, you just might get lucky and find that illusive sound you've been seeking. <lol>

Olymoon told me that the sound could be found in some preset from Spire. I´ll check all and if not find it I´ll get the song, cut the mp3 and use the wav I need for making the intro. I´m tired of this.

And there are some new libraries. Type a list of them. Not too many.
