To me, ur all being way unfair ("mindless trash", "viscous vapid pop tart" etcs) 2 Miley. She started out doing theatrical Disney shite because of reasons (age). David Bowie started out doing theatrical vaudevillian shite because of reasons (meet boys). Both have tried 2 transcend these silly origins, but it remains 2b seen whether Miley can have a career liek Bowie. It seems liek nobody noticed any evolution, tho. Maybe because sexism?

I was watching this music video from Phil Collins the other day and you can see its a very different time,everything was slower(1993),no high tech gadgets in the video,even the traffic seemed more peaceful.
And then there is his apartment,which you`ve got to love,again no gadgets just Phil,a piano and card boxes.

Nothing demonstrates a lack of technology more than the humble analogue studio outtake.
