Hey, i have a problem with my nexus plugin. I've used nexus many times but recently on FL 12 when i load a preset in nexus from one of the expansions like Psytrance, it makes my CPU in Fl studio hit maximum and gives me a crackling sound. I know infact its not my computer b/c my computer has specs that surpass the standards ones nexus would require. Also, when i try opening nexus in FL 11 it works fine no crackling sound or anything but i need to use it in 12. I've tried re-installing nexus and rescanning. I'm gonna try it one more time soon but if this isn't the way i need to solve it does anyone know whats going on and how i can fix it?

Try deleting the Nexus database file (Data.ndb) located in the Nexus content folder. This will lead Nexus to create a new datafile when you open it the next time. Know this problem and that's the way it saves my life everytime. ;)

 

the problem lays in nexus being a 32Bit plugin used with a 64Bit DAW. To solve your problem open Nexus go to processing and check the box "use fixed size buffer". This will take care of the problem you describe no only in Nexus but any other VST with 32 Bit architecture.
