I've been listening to this song and trying to analyze it but I just can't find out what exactly is being done and used to make this lead "bounce" like that at the end of the bar. I know there is lots of pitch movement going on and the note is being played a couple of times in quick recession during this part of the song. Also the lead feels more centered because the delay is being dialed back. But it feels like there is more going on to almost give it a "scratching" like effect at the end, but I can't seem to pinpoint what it is exactly. I added the time into the YouTube clip but in case somebody is wondering, it happens at 01:04 into the song and another time around 01:25 at a lower octave.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

Little bump in the hope I won't just be replying to myself here.

It might be a play with the pitch but not like pitch bending, more like with Crystaliser (soundtoys) or Pitchfunk, it does sound scratchy from high to low which those two things pull nicely, maybe try playing with the pitch button from high pitch to low with one of those two vsts, the two are good for that, then the filter, resonance and delay in those too.

Yeah, it's that "scratchy" nature of the sound that I couldn't pinpoint on myself. I will definitely try those plug-ins to see if that achieves what I am looking for. I heard the pitch bending in the earlier parts quite clear and it's obviously still present in the moment I highlighted. But it sounded quite different and I couldn't quite say how or why that was. Thanks for your suggestions and I'll be sure to check them out.

Pitch envelopes (modulated amount of low -> going up to destination pitch) along with quick pitchbends (almost like vibrato).

So you're saying that particular movement is created by parallel pitch modulation? Or does the new (faster) pitch modulation just replace the original one from earlier in the song? Listening to the sound again with your post in mind (thanks for that btw!) it does indeed just sound like a bunch of very rapid pitchbends in succession, but indeed slower than regular vibrato. I never even considered anything like that (possible parallel pitch modulation) and even thinking about the concept seems rather interesting.

Yes, parallel...or multiple pitch modulations, if you want to call it that. You can modulate (i.e., automate) the slowness/fastness of the attack of the "pitch up"-envelope. As well as the portamento/glide amount. At one point you might not know what is doing what, but the effect is pleasing (or not, depending on how much you modulate and the overall result sounds to your ears).
