I'm looking to apply for a monthly payment of Protools 12.

I'm currently on a PC, and my computer specs seem to be on the clear.

I'm looking to use the cracked version of Waves on the authentic Protools. Would this work?

Not only that, what I'm worried about is the overall compatibility. I'm sure it works well with a Mac, but I've never heard of anyone using it on a PC around me.

Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks so much for your time.

 

if you're on PC why not go with the AudioUTOPiA Pro Tools 12.5 ?

 

I have tried Pro Tools First . My God, what a disaster.
It needs to connect to your account to confirm the opening of this one. It scan any plugins to open and plant with each update. Sure, it works better on a Mac. Why? Mystery and gumdrop.

 

You're on cubase 8 pro. PT will be a major step back in usability. There positively is no need and nothing to be gained.

 

The workflow on my Cubase Pro 8 is quite excellent, but my classes are run with Protools... so I have no choice but to use it.

 

So... I guess nobody knows whether or not a cracked version of Waves works with an authentic version of Pro Tools?

 

Team VR version will work with legit PT.

On a personal perspective that is totally true. However, if you deal with the rest of the world, when you share sessions, for better or worse, Pro Tools is the lingua franca among studios, and things don't seem to be about to change any soon now.
