This is not really "music from my soul" as it was for a job (drug commercial), but it was fun to actually use my ukulele for once.

.. typical bells , claps ,and ukulele track very popular in advertising these days.

Does the mix sound ok? Anything weird?

I know this tunes is kind of shitty compared to all of the awesome electronic music up here, but you guys obviously have good ears so i thought I would post it for feedback

As always, thanks for reading, listening, and giving a shit.

    hey,
try to notch down some of the very prominent frequencies in the midrange without destroying the typical ukulele character. there's a little too much masking going on in the midrange.
anyway, I like this a lot. very charming piece of music.

Thanks for your advice and for listening!

Yeah I totally know what you are saying. There's actually very little EQ'ing going on. I used a pair of KM 184's and I'm still learning their character .. they seem on the bright side ...but I love them.

I'll give a whirl tonight and see if I can tame that mid range a bit. That's what Friday nights are for right? ;-)

Thanks again man. Have a nice weekend.

Makes me want to use drugs LOL. A lot of good ones. I'm wondering about the minor chords in such up beat commercial music? I like them in the slow section though.

Yeah me and the Mrs. are totally an old married couple ..Friday nights are for passing out from working all week it seems ;-)

    Thanks for the feedback man~!

I had to jump right into another tune/drug spot so I haven't messed with the mid's / highs yet .. to be honest it's a little scary .. I fear making it too boomy

Yeah unfortunately those minor chords were necessary ... I was emulating another track that they like which also had a major/minor/charm thing going on.
